When is part 3 coming out? I need to see it so I can install my lights. Those videos are very helpful!
Thanks for the support Jason. It's raining over here, In a week aprox. and I'll be doing them and posting it right away
Bet!
I installed lights but I have a question, is the switch supposed to stay on all the time even when car it’s off?
@@jasonmartinez1895 if you connect it to the 15 Cigarette fuse, no
Good pointers of running the wires. Was easy to get to once I removed the battery and I was able to use a wire hanger to push the wires though to the floor. What a PITA getting the rubber plug back into the fire wall though. You have to be a Contortionist, such and awkward spot.
Everything just got installed today but the light in the actual button is staying on. Is that normal? I’m concerned because it’s constantly pulling power.
With my light being constantly on, I took the switch apart and found out it was sticking. I jus actuated the button manually and then it hasn’t stuck since
If the frog light were led white led lights ; they would have been hotter
If you get pulled over by a cop will they issue you a state reff
should we use Add a fuse kit to connect the red wire to the fuse box? is it safe without using Add a fuse kit?
For me I want the daytime running lights to be in blue color, then at night it should be in white color and at the same time the turning signals also work in the fog lights. Will I get something like that?
Wow nice job and your videos are very helpful
Ineed some help regarding the red wire connected to the fuse, my kit dose not have a free red wire I think its connected directly by harness to the battery with the main relay so can I cut it and connect it to the fuse box?
I need the white light for the switch to be turned on with interior lights can you help me?
Were you able to cut it and run to fuse box
I could not find the wire on the other side of the firewall in my cabin if my life depended on it....
😔
They come on correct
Who ever puts the switch inside engine bay has serious issues nice install tho 👍🏼
I've seen that lol
How you hook up the switch on your dash. I have a blk blue red yellow wires.
You got the DRL then idk
I Cant find the little gromit in the foot well
I have the same question did you find it?
Great video. Does this void the warranty? Curious if a issue of a short or something happens on the electrical part. What would toyota do? Want to out these on a xse
Do you have a link to where you got the bezels from bro? They look great!
Toyota Miami bro got mine from a contact!
How did you get the switch wire through the firewall and where is it located in the car cause I can’t seem to find it
through the fire wall there is a rubber that you could move it just a little bit so you can pass the wires through them
Is it possible to install these fog lights without removing the bumper ?
If you see my video you'll see that yes it is possible. Or are you talking about the bottom cover?
@jenner boyka where did you buy your front badge?
Mike Martin/FB
dont they make a fuse extender? instead of running that wire like you did to the fuse?
Maybe now back then nope.
Yes, it’s easy. It’s like a $7 part at autozone. Way safer !!
Piggy back low profile
Hey thank you for doing this video I’m about to install my fog light on my XSE, my question is I have the two back wires that one goes metal to metal as you show in the video and other black goes on the car battery but I don’t know which one is which, on of the black cables has the small fuse box where does it go, thank you!!
Let me check that out for your follow my ig and I'll send u a video @gen8_boyka760
If it’s a ground cable, then it doesn’t matter. Can ground it to the battery, or to the location where he did near the fuse box. Doesn’t matter.
Thanks!
So far your video has been helpful. Thank you! One question tho, are the whole light system will not work without plugging that red wire to a fuse underneath the dash?
So far, i got everything set up except that one red wire that connect to a fuse. And my lights arent working yet
You could connect them to your head lights, you'll have to wire them in but as soon as you turn the car on your lights and fogs will too
Where did you get your splitter from? Looks dope af
#cuztomtuning
Mine came with red yellow and black wire what's yellow wire for?
You may have a different wiring harness. I’m pretty sure the yellow is for you to wire-tap into the turn signal line for lights.
@@bb3283 OK thanks
It’s for the turn signals
what fuze should i connect it to control them independently
Hey I installed mine today but . My fog light switch stays light up orange even when then car is off . Any info would help to fix that thank you .
Hello. Did you get fixed that?
For the intake did you had any issues with the engine light or had to take the car for a tune ? And if not what type of intake do you have?
I got a video on it bro
Anyone have the 3in1 drl's with the white yellow and blue....im having trouble figuring out where the blue wire should go..like what fuse..or elsewhere..anyone?
How can you get to the plastic thing to get the switch threw the inside ?? , it’s almost impossible :/
it hard but possible theres a rubber in bettween the sterring wheel and engine bay
Where you buy the boton
What Amber light kit is that
It came with the car. The LED was from ebay now I'll recommend Las fit I have a link on down below for any LED
How did you get the logo replaced with your design
The Japanese Teq logo. It's written in Katakana (form of Japanese writing) and says Toyota you can by emblems and vinyl decals overlays
When store sale
LOL
If i put the front lip do i need to lower my car?? Or will it looks nice like that without lowering my car? Please answer
It all depends on your taste, im lowering my car next week we'll see how it looks!
@@jennerboyka3744 oh ok. I want to put a front lip but I don't want to lower my car.
Jenner Boyka also let me know how it looks i want to lower mine but i have 18s i dont know how low could it go or do i have to go an inch more on the wheels since i want to do Eichbac
Giovanni if you put a lip and lower your car with springs you will scrape sometimes im thinking if i lower mine i will have to remove the lip i guess
@@jennerboyka3744 too low as is ! LOL spoiler scrapes stuff
Hey man did u wire the switches yourself?
Lol
I ran my lights tha same way but still no power
Have you try Ground?
Im having a nightmare getting that wire thru the firewall..theres barely any room..
Get a flat head and create your own hole through grommet
@@bb3283 where would I find it in the foot well ?
@@aztecaxivxo7844 right behind the brake pedal, there’s some insulation u have to pull back in order to see where the entrance is to the firewall. Go into the engine compartment and look behind the battery (far right side) on the firewall. If you look at this guys 2nd video, I believe he shows you where you need to stab a wire hanger, or screwdriver into. Once you create the whole, pull back the wire or screwdriver and then tape the wires u want to pass thru on it; feed it thru into the inside/cab of the car and after that, you just need to find a clean way to wire it up to the switch and fuse box.
@@bb3283 thank you 🙏🏽!!!
@@bb3283 Thanks! Heard a similar way when planning a sub install.
