Bro I miss baseball
Same
Me toooooooo
Yea!
Baseball in the last 3-5 years as been exciting as the roid era.. I’m ready
Almost there my dear friend
Elly showing up four times is crazy because he only hit 13 home runs all year... insane
Shouldve been three cuz Contreras hit one further a American family field
Also pretty crazy considering Schwarber, Ohtani, and Judge only showed up twice
wow that hit more homeruns
As a Reds fan, Elly being on here 4 times as a rookie is absolutely insane😂😂 that kid will be special
Once he cuts down on strikeouts he’s gonna be even scarier
@@YoungJaime Remains to be seen; coming from a Pirates fan, I remember how impressive Gregory Polanco was, and how he just fell off the wagon so quickly.
@@nahor88 he better than your cruz lol
As a Phil's phan, I agree.
3:03 "that ball had a family!" Love the good ol' JR reference
Might be my new favorite call
Jim Ross mentioned
I just love the sheer violence and raw power of Jorge Soler. I never get bored of his home runs. I swear he or Judge (with a nod to Ohtani and Schwarber) probably have the longest average distance on their home runs. Its like every shot Soler hits goes 440+.
Soler legit has one of my favorite swings in all of baseball
Loved him in Kansas City. He was part of the trio of great swings in 2019, along with Mike Moustakas and, of course, Salvador Perez.
His blast in the WS clincher with the Braves is my favorite
@@cameronmcanally5977I have been a Braves fan for 30 years and Soler’s WS bomb is easily in my top 10 Braves memories. I’ve never seen a ball crushed so quickly and decisively.
Glad he is with my Giants now
3:52 Who is talking about this fan's bare handed catch... Good job!
I was in shock at the Wrigley one...balls never get hit there.
Hope he can still do it in a Braves jersey. I wish him well.
Right? That's Sammy Sosa territory, right there!
Went to Wrigley one day in the late 1990's. Saw Sammy Sosa hit one very near that spot. It was estimated that day at 459 feet. That was way before statcast.
“these balls were crushed!”
that’s what she said😂
The smoke behind some of these hits just says it all there’s nothing more tht needs to be said the underestimating of how strong athletes are goes so underrated, regardless of sport
Shohei Ohtani
3:47 459f Oppo @TEX
9:33 493f @LAA
And that 493 led the majors. Tells you a lot about the Steroid Era, where 500 footers were quite possible.
My man Shohei!!!!!!! Greetings from an Australian who finds himself watching more and more baseball because of that man.
I was at Dodger Stadium the day that Acuna hit that rocket out and it was for sure the loudest home run I have ever heard live lol. That ball was DESTROYED!
i feel like every homerun he hits sounds like a bomb...his exit velo is always insane
6:26 “My daddy Bux” 😭😭😭
20 of 30 longest HRs by visiting players. Elly de la Cruz being personally responsible for 3 of those, plus 1 at home! Imagine what he'll do playing a whole season 💥
"That ball has a family"
That Castellanos homer was the first time I turned on the Mets in 2 months and I immediately turned it off.
Man.. the Braves lineup is f***ing terrifying lol! To bad they didn't show up when it mattered the most. Maybe better luck in 2024.
Nothing like watching a HR compilation
whoever the commentator is in CLE who called the Elly HR & "Down goes Anderson!" needs a raise
I miss baseball
That's why I play it every Sunday. Though even then I miss baseball 😂😂
I don’t understand how the judge home run in Miami that hit the wall 20 feet beyond the 405 sign is 464? Honestly I think balls are still mismeasured usually saying they’re father than they are. It’s like I’ve been to these parks and it’s they are way smaller in person and you can see that I’m the home runs look way farther on tv than in real life. The stands look smaller.
To be fair that was the only one that looked hella sus on the distance. Either statcast lied or the wall lied, but neither can be true.
The balls were crushed on the 37 hour shift at the ball crushing factory
Dude, I played baseball my entire life. Was around it almost everyday and saw a lot. The fact that someone can hit a pitch that far blows me away. It’s unfathomable. I don’t think people can really grasp how hard that is to do or how far that actually is until you try it firsthand. I spent a lot of my youth trying and never got anywhere remotely close to that. These guys are so good it’s insane
If anyone is counting De La Cruz had longest HR in 4 parks.
I would really like to see what Aaron Judge could do if he really tried to kill a ball
All of his homeruns look so effortless, like he isn't even trying
He swings for contact. But you Definitely know when he's not 😂
“That ball had a family” is probably the best line ever for a first home run!
People call Elly overrated like he isn't one of the most talented prospects we've ever seen. He's only 22 years old and people expect him to play like an MVP immediately.
my favorite sport now, cant wait to see soto in NY
Kyle schwarber hit some mammoth homers
it's going,going,going,it's gone.
Man as Elly gets older and stronger, guy will be tapping 500 a few times
Acuña, Olson, and Riley were all on here, and Kelenic is also about to be a Brave.
Another record setting year for the Braves? I hope so
I love when Guerrero hits a homer and DISPOSES THE BAT at the end of his follow through.. 😍
Are we gonna talk about that thumbnail
Honestly, that Vladdy Jr. one at Fenway is pretty ridiculous. 450 into the wind on an 84 mph pitch in on his hands that he doesn't even get full extension for. That's some serious strength.
I really believe Kelenic will be a productive player in ATL, at least a solid, platoon player. And he'll be another one that got away for SEA
elly practically owns every mlb ballpark
Yeah pretty much 😂
Not counting the other 26 then yes he owns just about all of them
Kind of wild that so many were from visiting players.
Jared kelenic to the Braves now. Some unseen power.
Love that Truist park's was Schwarber
How is Brandon Crawfords Mexico City homerun not on here? 486, after he hit a 390 foot that was inches foul the pitch before
493 feet 🤯
Go Reds! Elly De La Cruz is a beast!
Baseball come back
Thumb nail is crazy major pause
Damn, Barry Bonds’s shot in the 2002 WS must’ve been 525’ if Ohtani’s was 493’.
Kelenic is gonna crush in Atlanta! I can’t wait!
Loved watching him play as a mariner -- hope he gets his due respect in Atlanta
@@daytimecloudsurfer He got respect in Seattle, they gave him a bunch of chances. Dude can't stay consistent. He will even admit that. Maybe the braves can unlock the talent but so far he crushes AAA but loses his way with MLB pitching. He couldn't hit a breaking ball for the whole 2022 season.
Spring straining started!!!
SHOHEI IS TOPS BUT I LIKE ELLY HES DOPE
Elly "La Cocoa" De La Cruz👍🏾🇩🇴⚾️
I thought Acunas homer in Detroit was longer than Sotos
Ngl drew waters hitting the hr into the water fountain was ironic
0:35 I went to this game and as a HUGE Astros fan and also as a baseball fan, It’s always fun to see home runs on top of the train tracks, this moonshot is unforgettable
astros fans are not baseball fans. they're cheating fans.
@@obscurereference6298I am a true baseball fan, and other true baseball fans should respect all other players and teams, it’s ok to have rivalries but other teams cheated too, white Sox (legally) Red Sox, Yankees and Dodgers also cheated
@@obscurereference6298how are Astros fans not baseball fans, also are you saying that the fans cheated? and Astros didn’t benefit from cheating in 2017
only astros fans respond like this. it's called copium and no one respects it.@@thepoisonouspotato3631
Surprising how many road teams had the longest home run of 2023.
Sports picks today 1/6/24
Im just happy my team has the longest homerun in their home park.
Shohei sending the farthest bomb of the year at around 500ft… while also pitching his first shut out game of his career in the same season is wild
I particularly enjoyed the Schwarbombs myself.
Lotta Braves on here. Kelenic included.
I think the thumbnail need a redo
Only 10 of these were hit by a player from the home team. The other 20 the away team obviously showed up with some intentions lol
That thumbnail is hilarious
8:53 deep to right field WOW
No "splash hit" counter at Kauffman Stadium?
If Acuna can stay even somewhat healthy, he’s going to set new levels never seen before.
Acuña al inicio de la temporada dio un jonron de 470 pies fue con los medias rojas de boston
He never played for the red sox
@@jdot666x420 Eso fue al inicio de la temporada jugaron los bravos contra los red sox en el estadio de los bravos fue donde dió el jonrón de 470 pies
Yessir absolute bombs 💣
6:52: Jorge leaves the Soler System!
What was that, five by Elly, two by Schwarber, two by Kelenic, two by Shohei?
nothing like some crushed balls
Bro, that title is out of pocket
1:18 so what tragedy were they announcing at this moment? It’s always Castellanos
Amazing!!!!!
We need a HR derby on an open field. No obstacles. Just like a long drive contest. That way the true distance of home runs can be measured. Not the fictitious distance that's spewed out.
The amount hit by Elle day la cruse
Is that guy related to Elly De La Cruz?
Dont watch baseball alot, and not a native speaker, what exactly do they mean by saying "that ball got a family"?
They knew what they were doing with the thumbnail
Oh look the MLB gave em some juiced balls to swing at
Go O’s 🧡🧡
Yes Go Smiley Birds!
Who made the thumbnail? 😂
"that ball had a family" man reds fans must get so goddam sick of listening to that
There are going to be some long ones this year at Dodger Stadium!
I hope to see Ohtani clear everything to right field. lol
aw damn i thought this was a dominatrix promo 😢
these balls were crushed
Hey MLB, you might want to rethink the thumbnail.
thumbnail is crazy
6:31
People who liked to get dommed are PISSED when when they realize this is a baseball video
Balls rarely get to those bleachers at Wrigley, might’ve been a first
How do guys like Ohtani and Soto look like they get it off the end of the bat but it goes 470?
In the end, Ohtani hit the ball the farthest.
Adolis Garcia still owning the Astros LOL
0:35 I went to this game and as a HUGE Astros fan and also as a baseball fan, It’s always fun to see home runs on top of the train tracks, this moonshot is unforgettable
Vlad being on the cover of mlb the show w or l
Elly is him 🤷♂️
Schwarber owns Petco Park
493 crazy
You mislabeled the video. Supposed to say these balls were juiced.
The only question is, why does Elly lack power in the show 24
Me when I saw what words were in the thumbnail: 🤢😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😝😝😝😋😋😋😋
Crushed one of mine once now I got a 1-0 count
Phrasing.
