We as fans are so lucky to have someone like Engin in the sport. Also, I met Brian shaw at world strongest man last year. He is such a nice man. It would be so amazing to see him at East versus West one day in the future.

Devon is 100% correct about the protest issue. There needs to be something official in the rule set since this is a professional, legit league. NBA, NFL, etc. all have official challenge rules.
Engin - if you add a “protest rule,” you’ll never be able to get Michael Todd off the stage!
In football we have VAR,Video Assistant Referee,a third referee in monitor and sees everything and if there is a bad call for the referees and any mistakes he tells to the referees to see the replay...
Each armwrestler has 2 protests at the start of a match...
If a protest is called by a armwrestler - and their protest is found to be CORRECT, the round is restarted and NO protest is lost - So they still have 2 protests to use in the match.
But... if a protest by a armwrestller is found to be WRONG by the refs on review, that armwrestler loses that round and they also lose 1 protest - So now they only have 1 protest left for the rest of the match.
2 protests are quite a lot, but sure we can start with that, probably people wont abuse it, if yes, just change it to 1. Either way, it should be added.
@@AdamLighter1 With 2 protests you really can't abuse it. If an armwrestler calls a protest to just stall for time or another fake reason, they still lose that round (if the refs do their job correctly.) Now - that puller who tried to cheat only has 1 protest vs the opponents 2. Cheating only benefits the opponent.

Regarding protests, something similar to how tennis handles it may work well in arm wrestling.
The protest rule benefits pullers with less endurance because it increases the rest time between rounds

A protest rule would definitely be a very good addition. Yes it would make matches last longer and could get a little bit annoying to watch for some people but it would make for more fair matches overall plus a lot of sports already have protest/challenge rules already.
Why should you be allowed to drop your shoulder below the table in an offensive position but not in a defensive position?
There should be Instant REPLAY PERIOD When a call or foul is questionable!!!
Guys should win based on strength & technique ' NOT bad refs or rules!!!
Here's ANOTHER Suggestion - Make the PADS atleast 12" x 15" long, so constant "fouls" can be a thing of the past!!!

How about a review team of maybe 2 people who review in the background every match that is called and submit the results to the referee if it was an incorrect call?
In hockey u get a coaches challenge. But if you lose its a penalty. Maybe have a challenge if its overturned u keep challenge if its determined the call was right. Its a foul.

I think Engin and Devon need to have a match to settle the rules discrepancy. If Devon wins then the Kings move rule is changed. If Engin wins then Devon needs to shut his mouth about the rules.
You will not be comparable at 175 lbs vs 275 lbs. It is a fact. Not 5% not 10 %, but 15% or a bit more. Have you ever seen a 220 lb strongman?
Forget about Genadi, it’s a waste of time. That first round refereeing, many don’t agree with the results. Devon already won Genadi just by being number 2 in the world

Why should Levan do that if it's the superheavyweight division? It's a weird cope, but it doesn't change facts. Levan is the strongest and Devon isn't. This is like saying if my legs were 7 feet long then I could be the best basketball dunker in the world.
It’s just facts. Every sports have a weight class upper limit and a drug test. UFC is 265 lbs for heavyweight. So that the advantage gain is not outrageous like in Arm Wrestling

EvW Is The greatest League, because there is no ridiculous Kings move allowed. The squatted Kings move is a disgrace to the sport. I think the rules should be even stricter, so that if your humorist is level, it should be considered a foul. Because some of these athletes are so weak, and/or their elbow is so badly damaged, when they are in the squatted Kings move, all they have to do is just sit there and squat and wait for the opponent to get tired. That's pathetic arm wrestling. Arm wrestling should be a war game, not a couch potato game.
