If so, then Brazil is going to win the Copa America because sometimes they had the best team in the world. It's a mix of two. Gregg berhalter is not a good enough coach and doesn't know how to get the best of his players against good opposition and the US players are bottlers. They have incredibly week mentality. Anytime they have to play anyone tougher than mexico they have a tough time.
With this result the US falls to 5-7-6(WDL) vs Top 20 teams under Berhalter, 4 of those wins are against Mexico. If you remove the Mexico matches, the US literally has a 7.1% win rate vs Top 20 opponents, under Berhalter. WHY IS HE STILL THE USMNT MANAGER?!

Berhalter has no idea how to setup this team. It makes you wonder, is it worse having a coach with no plan (like BJ Callaghan who beat Mexico 3-0 in the most dominant showing the US has had these past 4 years) or a coach with bad plans such as GGG (who constantly struggles with lower CONCACAF teams despite having the most solid team by far in the confederation).
All 3 of Colombia’s last goals came from turnovers in the U.S.’s own half, and an outnumbered Colombian counter. The game was relatively tight in the second half especially, but the U.S. completely gave up, lost hope, and in a way lost respect for Colombia by playing so lousy towards the end. Not the USA was a better team, but the game was tighter than the scoreline makes it seem like. The first goal came from a defensive error, and the corner kick for the second goal which led to the bicycle kick came from another defensive error. The U.S.’s defense and defensive midfielders are truly vulnerable with their feet and must play better. Without these 5 errors, it could have been a scrappy 1-0 win 😂. *could have been* , though. Also, the goalkeeper should have saved the bicycle kick 👊🏼
Yeah the highlights on this didn't show it but especially the last two goals were particularly egregious turnovers by the US defense that were immediately punished
also on the 4 goal the person cut it out but some mls player in a horrible fake pass right to the columbian player left them on a 2 v 3 and you know what happen i just think that the players really messed up that day i don't think that berhalter was in the full fualt but he shoulden have taken some of are eroupean players off, with the 3 to 5 goal it was all their fualt really.
