Gotta kick outta the 30 plus minute mark into his playing, he goes off into playing Bostaph's stuff via God Hates Us All and he stops and asked the audience "Ain't it sumthin like that?"🤔....Lol...Funny Dave..And obviously playing 30 plus minutes near straight like clockwork...The guy IS amazing 🤘🤘

You hit that right on the head.. when Dave is playing his double bass it is so powerful and loud there are a lot of drummers out there when they're playing the double bass they're not putting that much power into it as Dave is and the men never gets tired.. if you notice when he plays the double bass he is leaning into those pedals with so much power and force that's insane
Imagine if Dave spent time getting used to direct drive pedals? I can just imagine how much faster the double bass playing would have got , probably a good thing he stuck with the iron cobra's most of his career .

Soloing is not his biggest strength because he doesn't have a very wide vocabulary. But man watching him rip through the slayer songs leaves you speechless
Great skill, great at double bass....... Seems like a cool dude to add. To me he has always lacked in creativity. Overall impressive drum tracks that he had with Slayer. Slayer's style limits so many change up options. Guessing his style would have been much more versatile in bands other than Slayer. To me his stamina is the most impressive. One of the all time greats in his own way.... no doubt
