My AP bio teacher goes over things very quickly so sometimes it's a little hard to follow, so this cleaned a few thoughts up. Thanks a bunch!
Jack Merrill same lmao
This video is so helpful! I think the shorthand writing ( abbreviations), clear speech, and clean writing. its all very organized and easy to follow. You're saving my life, my BCH book does a terrible job of explaining.
This was hugely helpful. Thanks so much!
Thank you for the video, great educator!
Very good video, you explain everything clearly and we'll. Thank you.
Explained very well, Thanks a lot

Thank you Khan academy and Tracy!
THANK YOU.
Thank you :)
6years later still very helpful thanks!
very nice, thanks!
Interesting!
thank you from heart
Your explanation is always amazing Tracy......Love your voice and your handwriting :-)
omg i swear the way u drew the alpha helix structure was so satisfyingggg
Helpful video thanks

Where is Khan?
Lmao same
showing some wrath to the star trek guys.
getting head in the back room
MMA king hes at the academy
Nice and clear thanks. A few more spelt out terms would be appreciated.
Great video
Thanks
she has the nicest voice...love this video. thanks
Thank u
Nice
You defined a protein as being made up of one or more "polypeptide" is this also true if it's made up of one or more ogliopeptide?
Guys how does change in in primary structure of a protein will have an effect on the tertiary structure and the final shape of the protein
with all due respect, shes got symphonious voice, i would fall for her if i was in her class
I like the way you say shtructure!!! 😉
thanks that was very helpful
What kind of teaching program or app did they use here? thank you!
tq
great video and SUPER helpful! ps don't listen to all these brats, your voice is on point ;-)
Keep it up and nice graphics and lectures very useful information for learning how to stay on top of the subject matter. Thanks khan academy
yipee😃,survived listening to her voice till the end .
These structures of protein or level mean each protein should have this levels or no ????
Here in 2024....juz awesome
had to speed it up a bit
Seductive!!
Thank you:)
Damn your voice is so beautiful! Makes this video way much better!
IKR !!

HELP-(sorry for my bad english) hey , please help me, I m suffering from panic disorder, and yesterday I ran out of my tablets (lonazep), I was in panic, so I took the tablet which I keept in my drawer openly, just like I will not use it (i m going to throw it away but forgot), I was in so bad panic attack that it left me with no other option, so I took the tablet, is it ok to take a pill which where on shelf for more then a month.... I m afraid that bacteria, virus or anything like that will change the compound or any will bad microorganisms bypass my bbb.... or anything bad like this
You okay?
I think you just exaggerated!
I mean, you thought of it too much. Don't!
your voice makes the lecture understandable
Mustafa Alhayali her voice lacks shrukShur
WHISTLING S@@arkaneforyou
Very helpful. Haters need to just go read their books if they don't like it.
I really hope I don't got to see 140 videos just on biochemistry for my unit 3 exam (exam 1 was hard...)
I blame Khan Academy for my failure of the last test: I used videos like this with over 4 hours watched as well as over 10 hours of textbook study just for preparation. I think I did around 20 hours of review over a few days just for ensuring I knew the material. Sadly, even 100 hours would not have saved me.
SoS.
08:13 multimer or polymer?🧐🧐
valley girl has taken over Khan Academy guys
👏👏👏👏
Why is the writing so small???? No one can see it
SHTRUCTUREEEEE! Where's Khan atttt?
I need a magnifier
you explanation is great, but why is your handwriting so minute?
u ve a wndrfull voice bt itz nt coming well the vedio plz look ovr it
There are several mistakes in this video: 1) Pauling showed (and got a Nobel prize) that polypeptide chains fold because of the chirality of alpha amino acids lined via alpha peptide bonds, and that the H-bonds between peptides line up every 3.4 aa and are strengthened because H2O is absent (i.e. because the dielectric constant in the denominator of the bond strength is a lot lower than 80). 2) The H-bonds between parallel beta pleated sheets are not parallel but at an angle, making them weaker than those between anti-parallel pleated sheets, which may be why the latter are more prevalent in nature, 3) S-S bonds form spontaneously in tertiary structures because the cysteines' SH groups are near enough to each other and, again, H2O is absent. Anfinsen got a Nobel prize for that.
Please correct these errors.
lol
annnnndddd go fuck yourself.
in fact it`s 3.6 according to Pauling, just saying.
Tershare shratsher :)
There are three types of Secondary Structure - alpha helix, beta-sheet and collagen.
Collagen- three strands of polypeptide coiled around one another.
Collagen is an example of a Fibrous Protein which is one of the two ways a protein can interact in Tertiary structure, the other being Globular proteins e.g. Hemoglobin.
Thanks girl
thank you 4 d video. huge help. my brain fried up after going through ncert.
watch it on x1.5 speed
Dude i cant see a thing
I think you interchanged explanation of sec and tert structure, pls correct me if i am wrong
Your explanation is amazing but the way you pronounce structure is distracting xD
I don't know why the background just makes me wanna sleep.
good
The way she says structure is weird
ar fagih shrukhshur
The writing is way to small:(
Thank you, i really appreciate what you're doing but you make a very weird annoying sound at the end of each sentence!!
1:40
Meshari AA its her breath... im sure you can survive it
it would be really be nice if your writing is made bigger..really hard to follow the writing..
Tracy you have a hot voice
idiot
Dipesh yadav Why?
@Wardog11111 ..the video is for educational purpose.....whenever someone look after comments for these ...they aspect something useful........not "she has this or that"......
Dipesh yadav Yeah I know it's for educational purposes, but the comment doesn't detract from the video. Also most people commenting on the video aren't experts on the subject like Tracy, you can't really expect reliable information in comments. Her videos are awesome, and I appreciate her work, but that doesn't mean I can't also think she has a hot voice.
LOL. Thats what i was thinking. And then i looked her up on google and she looked exactly like i thought she was gona look. Mixed asian with .. maybe white? Probably white. lol
She says tertiary structure like "tersheery strectchurr" huhu thanks for the great lecture tho
whistle teeth
i have seen her... she is as beautiful as her voice
This is very informative. But the way she say structure is extremely annoying that I have stop the video
Damn.....too small writing.......
What are you doin for life like a teacher ?
I felt like Regina George from mean girls is teaching me haha.
Her voice is annoying -_- , it gets lower and squeeky at the end of EVERY sentence.
Where the fuck is the male character?
writing too small and abbreviations were overused, sort of fell asleep ,sorry ,not good
the voice...so annoying...
The voice is catastrophically annoying and the writing is toooooo small!!
Why does she sound like the kardashians lol
good explanation but your voice need to drink.
Sorry but I had to stop after 30 seconds. Writing is too small.
her voice destroyed my ears
