Though I had a couple of jalopies in high school, after graduating in 1954, I bought a preowned '53 TD with just a hand full of miles on it. Sold it one year later. Same color as the one owned by the Sedelmeyer's. I don't remember the exact price I paid but it was, but somewhere in the range of $1200 to $1400. Step aside as the 'hindsight' monster rears it's ugly head. Thanks for the memories.
