Minnivale is a good little stop off but it's been ages since we were last there. Looks pretty much the same though except the roof over the baker's oven. You are right about not much info on this place, we have tried to find more for our page but there is stuff all out there sadly. A pity so much history on these small towns has been lost over time. Really enjoyed this series.
Thanks mate glad you enjoyed it. I find it interesting to see other peoples take on a place. We start our next adventure on Thursday but that wont come out till June I think

I'm going to be using Gabbin and Minnivale as my 2 main camp sites in the future. Did anyone have any mobile reception in Minnivale? My Optus phone had zero signal, I should check with my Telstra phone (my one fear is the car breaking down in that area with no one around). Not sure if you spotted it, but the public toilet in Dowerin has a hot shower. My plan is to camp in Minnivale and shower in Dowerin
Gday, don't quote me but I think I had Telstra. One of the other people had Optus but it didn't work in most places, but when it did, I was surprised. You will be ok most of the time with Telstra. No didn't see the shower in Dowerin. Thanks for watching
@@ontheroadwithjohn There's a toilet (and I think a dump point) on the main strip of Dowerin opposite the pub. The shower inside the toilets has both hot and cold, so you have the potential for a good weekend away in that area for not a lot of money
