Nice one not to expensive, you got a good mechanic there who looked after you, there's a few good places in Chaing mai and they dont rip you off, so safe travels!
They do look after me here!! They have a real passion for cars also. Last time I had to go to the garage in the UK for a faulty abs module on a Citroen van the bill was over £1000!! Next job on the Datsun is to try and make the cab a little quieter!!
I’m looking for a reliable one in Thailand. Almost got one in Pattaya last month. Are you able to introduce me to the workshop that you featured? Can they speak a bit of English? I’m looking to get one to do a long term proper rebuild. Hope you see this. And maybe we can just keep a connection. You’re in Chiang Mai right?
Hey Jonathan, yes normally based in Chiang Mai but back in the uk at the moment till November. Yes they can speak a little English and are a great garage. Ball the owner runs retro north car club. I’d recommend to join Datsun pickup 620 Thailand club on Facebook if you haven’t already. As all the smaller Datsun clubs around Thailand are part of this. Some trucks are listed for sale here also.
