In kpop, idols have to upheld an idealistic perfect image but they are only human and they will mess up and make mistakes just like any of us do in life
Fans will be fans no matter what. She will not be as mainstream as before but she will still have fans. Junhyung was still able to make a comeback despite the scandal because he still has loyal fans who actually know what happened and not make judgment from watching yt videos or reading a single article about burning sun scandal

I used to support her and be a huge fan of her, but after all of this I can’t. I feel so bad for Dawn and I hope he is doing well.
Honestly, I started seeing her differently after her break up with Dawn mainly because of everything that started coming out after that. It was him confirming that he had no clue that she was going to announce the relationship. She just did it on a whim. She didn’t even ask him if he would be OK with it, which is saying a lot because his career had just started. He had barely been an idol. His group recently had only just blown up from a song that he was a part of producing and writing with one of the other members, and she decided to take it into her own hands to announcer the relationship
Then it was the time when he talked about when they did I believe it was the water bomb performance, and before they even went on, she kept trying to convince me to take her shirt off with her. He didn’t want to. He talked about the fact that he was uncomfortable doing it he didn’t want to take off his shirt. He felt uncomfortable. He wasn’t very confident in his body at the time and then while they’re on stage, she’s having fun. She takes her shirt off. She starts , you know feeling him up kissing him and then she just takes his shirt off and he let her do it because he didn’t wanna fight her on stage even though he told her backstage she wasn’t comfortable with her doing that.
Not to mention when she even talked about herself on her and started dating because she was interested in him mind you not only she technically older than him, but she also has been in the industry longer than he has, and she convinced him to go out with her, even though he didn’t really want to try that out at that point in time because again he knew that his career was really brand new and he’s not stupid. He knows phantoms were especially for boy groups, but she was pretty persistent and he was like you know what I do actually like you. I guess we can try this now instead of later and again like I said going behind his back basically and just confronting the relationship without actually talking about it in an interview that led to the entire shit show that happened at CUBE.
I can understand this I cannot sit here and say that I don’t understand how she’s got gotten into this point because we’ve seen this in America and I do feel like this is when you should start looking at how child stars always end up at some point. We do tend to forget that she debuted at the age of 14 when she debuted with girls at 14 that was controversial as is because of the outfits that they put her in which were questionable and then even which ended up believing that company and going to cube entertainment Way that they advertise her was also hyper sexual for teenager. Her debut song change people were talking about how prerogative it was and the choreography and things people forget that technically speaking she would’ve been 16/17 when she filmed that music video and she was definitely 17 internationally when it came out. Bubble pop I like it but then it hit me that she would’ve been like 19/20 when that song came out like she has basically just been seen objectified and sexualized her entire career yes at one point she took back that power it feels like but at the same time it’s understandable that she would self sabotage if she ended up with someone who genuinely didn’t just see her as a sexual object, mainly because I’ve seen this happen in real life with people that I’ve grown up with who were sexualized since they hit puberty and the way that they react when they’re in healthy relationships is the same way I feel like she reacted when she was in a healthy relationship with Dawn.
She couldn’t, but he wasn’t sexualizing her. He wasn’t seeing her as an object, and then when it felt like the feelings got too much in my opinion, him proposing him wanting to truly be with her. She didn’t know how to deal or handle that that’s not what she was used to, especially from men and their attention. So her ending up with a guy who sat there knew what was happening, watched videos of women being taking advantage of and saw nothing wrong with it Actually makes sense like she’s 31 so she’s going through a midlife crisis on top of the fact that she still hasn’t fully gotten to the point where she’s actually trying to emotionally and mentally heal herself from being overly sexualized from such a young age for so long. Not to mention, I feel like the one time she tried to do that the two times she tried to do that personally I feel like one of the songs that were like a cry for help almost or hurt explaining to people, and kind of explain why she offstage was Bebe when you look at them and listen to them really sound like it’s just her talking about how it was when she was an idol at a young age all the way up until her age at that time and also you know comparing me to like a love song makes sense. I feel like a lot of K-pop idol do that but then when you really look at the lyrics, it’s like it’s talking about something completely different.
Then flower shower that was a song that she talked about being a huge part of making, and how much she really liked it and she felt like it was more her, but still have that little little bit of like sexy people people liked and people dislike that song that was probably one of her most hated songs for a while. People just couldn’t stand that song and they were like I liked her and she was in cube and I feel like that’s solidified for her that people don’t care about what she wants and how she feels about things because she would adamantly talk about flower shower, and how much she loved that song and how was something she dearly wanted to do And then people hated the crap out of this song and talking about how it wasn’t up to standard. it wasn’t good enough, etc. and I’m also feeling like that’s why she ended up coming out with. I’m not cool after that because it was kind of her being like that persona that you guys see and stuff that’s not truly me. That’s what people wanted me to be and I don’t think people took that the way that they should have so I feel like she’s just like doubling down on the people think that this should be. Maybe I should let her down this path.
Again, I don’t think it’s like something excusable, but I do think it’s understandable that she would end up with a shitty ass person like this and not see anything wrong with it. She did one interview recently, where she kinda talks about their relationship and stuff and even the way she talks about it I saw clips of it because I refuse to watch anything that this woman has anything to do with personally and she can make money off . She genuinely lives in this weird bubble world fantasy world at the moment where it’s like yeah we’re just like love you know, and even the fact that she mentioned that he thought she was manipulative. Like I genuinely think that she ended up growing up with pretty privilege, but it was detrimental to her, she knew that she could use her child innocence, but then her body that people objectified as a weapon against primarily men she can use her emotions as a weapon against people and I think she did a really good job of doing that for years and when she did start to feel like she didn’t like it, and she tried to change She doesn’t understand it would take time to change into old ways. I also think that she’s someone who kinda needs validation from outside sources, which is why I feel like she flip-flopped from trying to change her image to be less sexy to doubling down on it.
Clearly, she’s getting some kind of validation from this man that she enjoys and likes. And it’s enough to feed that part of her that she’s able to ignore everything else. Because once again there’s no way in hell that she’s unaware of how much the general republic of South Korea let alone international fans are appalled by any and every single one of the people who were involved in the burning son crime syndicate because at this point, this shit wasn’t a scandal it was a giant full-blown crime ring , no one was happy with any of those men. People been in prison for longer not for life, especially the ones that were higher up in the rings and part of some of these horrendous things more pissed off at so many of them are trying to make a comeback as celebrities, even if it’s not even in South Korea, two of them have gone to Japan to try and have a career and sadly it seems to be slightly working then again I’m on surprise because honestly, you can find so many videos about the crazy, scary shit that’s happened in the Japanese entertainment industry like just look up the whole history with the Johnny and the man who was in charge of them up until he died and the pedophilic shit he would do to those children and the general public was made aware of it several times and they chose to ignore it because he was giving them amazing male idols so they didn’t care that these little boys were basically being SA random on like nightly/daily basis they pretended like they didn’t see it because they came out with good music. Her actions says a lot. She is an adult she knew about the scandal shoot it was and still is a huge scandal in the kpop industry and a very disgusting one at that, and the fact she started dating him and actively showing she doesn't care says a lot. @@bwane5961never in a group chat but was sent a video of 🍇 after receiving it he watched it and proceeded to comment inappropriately rather than reporting these things to the police. He is in fact involved and accessory in or out of the group chat.

If failing to report a crime is in itself a crime can you imagine how many would be in jail right now? Do you know of anyone who committed ANY wrong? Do you know of anyone who pirates contents? have you ever received a video of someone physically assaulting someone? Following your logic we would all be in jail.
But no, people like to envision themselves to be the morally upright in hypothetical scenarios. They like to imagine that they are good moral people but in reality would they really be willing to spend hours in interogation for a video of a woman had consented sexual contact, consented to being film just not to spreading the video? would they really put themselves out there to the scrutiny of the police and vicious korean new media? would they really be willing to be responsible in exposing a "friend" and potentially ruin thier career in the process. Of course people can say yes because you're BRIGHT AND MORAL people but I don't believe you in the slightest/

What junhyung did, associating with that man and commenting on that video was terrible. I am so disappointed in him. And it shows how he takes consent lightly. I used to love her music. But after this situation I deleted all her music from phone. It’s sucks because I love the song she has with dawn. But I can’t support her therefore anything with her name I won’t stream anymore.
Young Junhyung was my bias , since the time they were BEAST. And I still love the songs he has produced but I am super glad he left the group and that highlight are still doing great .
But no matter how much fun it was, I really cannot watch the beast contents or earlier highlight contents now.

I love, love, LOVED Hyuna during her 2017 era, but honestly I am making a conscious effort to boycott her and it breaks my heart.
I was a fan of both since 2009. I know my opinion will be controversial but i hope people will have an open mind and be respectful with what i'm about to say.
This relationship is yearssss in the making. I stanned BEAST since debut so I witnessed everthing unfold. Junhyung and Hyuna have always had a connection. I can confidently say that they have been in a relationship or share mutual affection since their teens. There was this video at ISAC in 2009 that showed that Junhyung reaching out to Hyuna just to touch her. Its so not just friendship vibes.
Then dispatch revealed his relationship with Hara. Hara and Hyuna are not just friends they were very very close until that point. There was video of Hyuna at the airport the next day or a few days after the dating news and she looked really sad. I have never seen her interact with Hara after that.
Then Troublemaker happened. I believe that Hyuna and Hyunseung were in a relationship. And you know what happened, Junhyung and Hyunseung got super awkward with each other. They never spoke directly in all their appearances despite being in one group. (Ask any BEAUTY/LIGHT, we can confirm this.) Until Hyunseung left due to "difference in taste in music" who composed BEAST's songs that time? Junhyung. And to think they had a very close friendship before all this happened.
So I think Junhyung and Hyuna has history way back before Hara and they just got back together. I actually think they got back together multiple times. Like when junhyung appeared in Hyuna's show.
I know we all have opinions about their relationship but please respect them. They are still human after all. I hope those who keeps leaving disgusting comments on their socials reflect on their actions. Why do you have to over and over again let them know that you don't approve of their relationship?

I’m a long time international big Hyuna fan (U.S.). To me her downward trend has nothing to do with any of this. It’s that she became weird (no one wants to say it in our hyper sensitive times) and her music has been very sparse and not that great (a couple were pretty good like “I’m not cool”).
Being her best was when she was at Cube. She looked great, she looked healthy (mentally and physically) and her music was great, she appeared to have a great attitude, behavior, character, etc. (don’t know if it was an act as I don’t know her personally). She just seemed to go off the deep end a little after Cube. I’m still always hopeful that we’ll see the real Hyuna and hear the real Hyuna music again but maybe it had more to do with Cube than I would think and maybe this has been the real her.

I don’t think she could be private with this relationship. Imagine the hate she would get if it was exposed by Dispatch or someone else. Telling about relationship herself was best she could do. She lost lots of fans, but a lot also stayed with her so she probably minimized losses this way.

I do not think Hyuna fell out of fame, and if so, not due to dating E'Dawn. In my view, and I can't speak for others, I think it might be because she got plastic surgery that changed her look to be more like Jessi's "thick lips" look, which I wish she had not done, but that's Hyuna's preference, which I respect. As long as Hyuna is happy, that's perfectly great whatever she has done to her face. I am always a fan of Hyuna. She seems really really sweet in interviews and her "girl crush" persona on stage is just that, a persona. Even her ex-boyfriend E'Dawn says Hyuna is a wonderful human being and said he would sue anyone who spoke badly about her. This confirms Hyuna is as lovable as I feel she is. I love Hyuna. So be kind to her here, please. Haters are the reasons sensitive idols like Sulli and others committed suicide. Let's be supportive of all of these wonderful idols who sacrifice their lives living unnatural lives where they are attacked for simply dating, something ALL OF US HERE in non-celebrity land view as a natural right for us and others, BUT IRONICALLY AND HYPOCRITICALLY, NOT FOR IDOLS.
