Actually you are both right. Most of the song is very deep and doesn't sound mainstream, but the drop itself sounds very generic as a future house song. That preset is very common, so you hear very young producers make songs which sounds just like this all the time, and it all sounds like a cheap copy of some of Oliver Heldens' music. The melody is also somewhat generic for the genre. But most of the song sounds very cool, and has a nice deep vibe that fits Selected well. It's just the drop that sounds like a demo song for the next nexus future house expansion. Again, most of the song sounds very good, it's just the first part of the drop lacks vibe if that makes sense :)
