Goku is a very good god of desteuction, he did claim to jiren that he is not a hero of justice but he protects is friends, while beerus looks for good food, goku will look for friends, those that dont accept are most likely evil, and desteuction is a good thing

Fun fact: In Battle of the Gods, Beerus was supposed to be a giant green lizard, but the idea was scrapped and they made him into a purple cat.

Beerus and Champa are like Goku and Vegeta - competitors in strength yet brothers of the same race - i like how this story is going - it feels fresh - a story told far away from the DBZ yet still connected to the current DBS.
well on a universal level the events of DBZ would hardly have much relevance.
@@selfishbeats uhh not the frieza arc. Beerus knew he was defeated. He knew it was on Namek also because of his knowledge of the dragon balls and the Namekian people. He just didn’t know Goku was the one that defeated Frieza because the planet was destroyed along with everyone on it.

The fact that the original design for Beerus was a green lizard but was then scrapped and turned into a purple cat-
it's not a purple cat it meant to look like an anubis..

They had too it was too similar to godzila not to mention the lizard from Spiderman and abomination and dozens of other heros

Dragon Ball Hakai is much more than a Story, Dragon Ball Hakai will be a Mega Universe where each character will have their own Story, as was the case with this manga where Beerus is the Protagonist, so you can be sure that we will have several stories of Origin of the characters ... How was Frieza born? How did Hitt become an assassin? All this in Dragon Ball Hakai

He’s got a manga he drew himself on Beerus’ backstory (amongst other things, like Goku’s final days dying of old age and his adventures in the afterlife, Vegeta becoming the new GoD after Frieza meddles with one of Bulma’s inventions, Frieza himself making a successor to the empire through his own child, there’s a lot).

I like how fleshed out the relationship between Beerus and his brother Champa is here. They aren't just petty rivals they genuinely care about each other.
Truely one of the best chapter's I have watched in some time. This is what should be on t.v. for all anime lover's of the Dragonball franchise to see. Great job it would be ashame if this did not continue. Really looking forward to the next chapter.

dope story line, i was hoping this story was already finished so i could binge all ## episodes in one sitting lmao. Looking forward to the next one!!! all aspects were interesting, especially getting a chance to see Beerus struggle in battle for once, shows where he started and makes our respect for him grow seeing as how he's virtually untouchable now!!!
Just realized beerus is a kid on this episode basically right? So that must mean there are ancient Saiyans on planets alive it has nothing to do with this but just a thought I came across…
Or simply, Saiyans probably haven't even existed yet.
So that's why berus was impressed by Goku when he try to stop the death Ball because it reminds him of his own struggle
