For me, TXR handling is more fun than TXR2 (I can´t turn for sh*t in TXR2) If you include the PS2, Initial D Special Stage (has a lot of Eurobeat) and Wangan Midnight are really good
Yea man. I plan on a couple follow ups for this video. I had recordings for a few more games I didn't include here. I picked the ps1 initial D, because its not as well known as the arcade game. Speaking of which I still have one of my licenses from the arcade game. I mentioned what influenced Wangan midnight as well as midnights influence in my Tokyo xtreme racer 3 review. Genki did the wangan midnight on the ps3. I do appreciate the recommendations though. I wouldn't know about street supremacy if it wasn't for recommendations in the comments. thanks for watching too
@@evo-genesis2088 Great! Yeah, Initial D PS1 is really fun and underrated though I would like to know how to turn off the OST (there's no setting in options menu)
You forgot to include Wangan midnight arcard and the battle gear series, in particular 2 &3. That was an arcade streeet racing game inspired by initial d. The game play is better though as its harder and needs a bit more skills. (Ie.. u need to downshift ur gears when going up hills and around sharp corners. With initial d u can play the game in 5th gear)
I always intended you to have a follow up to this video. Honestly I made a video about the games I was playing at the time. 6 games is usually how many I do in a video. I played wangan midnight maximum tune 4 in the arcade many years ago. I also still have a drivers license from initial d arcade. I am always up for requests. I’ll keep the battle gear games in mind. I’ve never heard of them so I’ll check them out 😎
I was going to put mc2 in the video originally. I went into this one knowing there would be a sequel down the line. There are tons of street racing games. I agree though I love txr 1-3, import tuner challenge for the 360 and street supremacy on the psp. txr isn’t in the title but the games are awesome.

I don’t think Kenji defeated anyone in the whole series. Even Itsuki got better than him.
