It’s now been 3 years since Citizen released this B side exclusively to CZcams and it’s still insane to me that they opted not to put this on the album - it think it’s one of their best songs and I listen to with weekly.

I love this song a lot! I'm happy for Citizen's change. As much as I loved Youth and As You Please, I am glad they won't make albums like that again. I think Mat said something like if you want to hear Youth then listen to Youth, but there won't be another "Youth" album that is just like it. It's not a bad thing, but I think most "pop-punk" and "emo" bands that were heavier in 2015, for example, are headed in this direction of sound. Like more of the "indie" or soft rock sound. Kind of like Turnover. I would not be surprised either if this kind of stuff is what will also be on The Story So Far's 5th record. Or at least more pop-rock centered. It's all good though because as a band and artist you want to change and progress your sound or you just become stale. Kudos to Citizen! They have done a good job and come a long way :)
