Consistent trend of people hearing a new citizen song when it comes out and either 1) not liking it, or 2) not being sure if they like it and eventually coming around and liking it. I genuinely hear every release and instantly love it. It always feels good and refreshing to me and I’m extremely thankful this band exists. 10/10 cool sound, once again.

Brad MacDonald I have zero expectations and keep an open mind and have never been disappointed. I think some people expect artists to make the same sound forever but I’m glad citizen doesn’t and just does what feels right. This song is cool just like anything else they’ve done. Love them.
@@elijerrr Agreed, ive said it on another video. Personally I think people thgat dont like bands changing their sounds are people that dont play there own music. You know how boring it gets playing the same stuff for years?
Sonically it's a pretty big departure from As You Please, but I dig the vibe. Solid track. Citizen has yet to disappoint me and it doesn't look like they're going to anytime soon.
