The latest in our Alpine Review Series, this time we go over the impressive offering an Alpine Halo 9 System can add to a VW Transporter T5.1!
On this Volkswagen Transporter T5 we installed the Halo 9 System along with Alpine's TOP END speakers called the R-S65C and Under Seat Subwoofer called the PWE-S8. This was teamed up with the specific T5 fitting kit & CAN Integration device along with an already fitted Aftermarket Reversing Camera.

I think it could benefit from better graphics on the display, however it's a good unit. Is the trim box included in the kit?

Hi don’t suppose you know what colour the remote cable that t5?
Any idea if VW E-Up can support that UART connection? I'm afraid removing the RCD-215 will disable the Garmin PID on the dash.
If you install an Alpine System then your Garmin will no longer continue to work.
what is the can bus (name/brand) unit you need in order to display vehicle info such as tyre pressure/speed? thank you.

i have one and it ask me to ender a CODE :::::: how to get it ?
The code has been set up by the previous owner or you have done it and not made a note of this. If you don't have access to the code - only Alpine can assist I'm afraid.
Nice video however could you emphasise weather or not the units are wireless connect to Apple carplay I find it so difficult to find wireless connection to CarPlay!
It’s a wired connection, you see the phone connected to it :)
No Alpine unit features wireless Carplay yet.
Would amazon music work?
I'm pretty sure they have a CarPlay and Android Auto App so yes it will come up on there!
How do you get vw boot logo
We custom make them and load them on to the unit when we install them at our HQ.
