A couple of weeks ago while my tiger sport 660 went in for a service, I was lent the tiger 900 gt , what a bike great low down and mid range power where it’s needed , great handling and at the time they did a low version ( just right for me ) but being retired couldn’t afford one + plus the new models they don’t do the low models anymore, reason no one requires them , I do with my dodgy hips , I’m 72 . All I’ve got to do now is win the lottery 🤪🤪😊👍
I love Triumph. I have owned Suzuki, Yamaha, Victory, Triumph and Ducati. My Ducati gets the most looks, but nothing has been built better than my Triumph, simply a work of art.
Enjoyed getting the Tridy660 same time as you & after a season traded it in for the Sport660 with all the bling, bells & panniers. It served me well for about 9000mile incl. a quick trip from 🇨🇭back to our roots 🏴&🏴 in '22. Passed it on, since our dealer passed away & have a Street Triple 765 . It's s great bike & instill think that engine ought to be in a detuned form of 47/95bhp variants in the TigerSport & Trident. Looking forward to our snow melting away to get my hands on the 400's for testing. Big hello from here to you over there 'not-on-the-continent' 👋✌️

Tiger 900 GT PRO, 15k, that's befote adding luggage or any additional options 😁. The adventure market has gone crazy. Why, in my eyes, the V Strom can't be beat for something affordable, reliable, and still 90% of what every other adventure can do.

Triumph makes amazing motorcycles, and I’m a fan, but it’s time for them to do more. Currently, the updates mainly involve just changing the color - for example, the Speed Twin 900. The instrument panels look cheap and outdated; there’s no USB-C, the LCD looks awful, like it’s from 10 years ago, and competitors are faring much better in these aspects. More modernity is needed. Those single-cylinder Speed 400 bikes aren’t even considered as Triumph; they lack proper sound and performance. In short, Bajaj says it all. By the way, TFT instrument panels are good 👍
I already own the Speed Triple RS 1200 but wish I had the Rocket 3 in my garage. It was a hard decision because the Speed and Rocket but went with the Speed due to it being lighter and smoother on the corners. That said I still wish I owned a Rocket 3. Maybe next year when they make a 200hp model😅
The trident 660 was considered entry level into the brand . But now with the speed and scrambler 400cc available, they are a good option for starting on as well .The trident with a max 80hp listed ,depending which model and what country it's bought in they have different hp to suit learner license rules in the UK, Nz,Aus .
@MOTOBOB did they "scrapped" the idea of a 1000+ (maybe 1200cc) "big" Tiger Sport model and just go with the 660 or would be the next big thing? That is the real question....
Hard to say because it will really depend on the condition of the specific bike you're looking at, but I have an XCa which is great because it gets a lot of accessories as standard. The only thing I don't like is the tube-type wheels, and so in hindsight I might have gone for one of the road-biased models as I rarely ever go off-road. Good luck!
I feel like they've really missed the mark with downgrading the scrambler. I would have been tempted to upgrade up to the old one but now I'm not interested. Much prefer the goldline editions than the limited editions this year.
@davidfisher3273 They were building Tiger 900's when I visited this time last year. They've put in a big new line now that can build most of the bikes in the range. I honestly do recommend doing the tour, it dispels lots of misconceptions.
I toured Europe on my Triumph in the 70,s then it was my everyday transport for years and years in central London. Great, their back! But why so large engines? 500cc was perfect. Why no longer beautiful metal silver motors? Much nicer, more beautiful, than those cheap looking ugly black things. The silver raw metal engines seemed to say, "look at me, I'm proud, I'm beautiful, I'm the heart and soul of this machine". The new black blobs seem to say, "don't look at me, I'm just an invisible boring opaque blob, look at all the plastic colorful garbage around me instead".
too bad thailand strips off many featuers of each to make more $$$. Customers get less for more bucks ! The 900GT pro and tiger 1200 are the only ones with tpms. Maybe new 1200 scrambler will have it. ; along with quick shifter ??? usa gets tpms for years ;on the street twin, bonneyville. Sad but true. The speed 400 and scrambler 400 should be great for local commuting. !!
All look incredibly well put together but so much product on the market these days not really a motorbike shop if you don't have a thousand machines on the Floor OEM for sale as new. Need to include OEM part supply on hand, maintenance and sustainment via over the air updates and notifications so until then still not really interested other than as a media product still for any of it.
Why does Triumph offer beautifully sculpted fuel tanks on the Scrambler 1200’s and cheap looking exposed pinch-welded tanks on their other “classic” models?
Just ONE comment on the tiger 660…… CRUISE CONTROL…… !!!!….. why they make most of these bikes without them is puzzling. Every channel on here that has test ridden triumphs has complained about the same issue.
Say what you will about triumph, they never stop progressing, both technologically and aesthetically. Kind of put other manufacturers to shame. And this from a Yamaha owner. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
Revzilla tested the 400 Scrambler in India, and found the saddle to be uncomfortable for lack of padding. Short people need to stop buying tall bikes. A tall bike is like a tall woman. It makes a short man look pathetic. Being short is not a stigma, unless you decide to prove you can do anything a tall guy can do. You simply can’t, and for your own self esteem, you should not even try.

I notice the graphics hinting at the Union Jack. Are any actually made in the UK now?
Yes
I recommend doing the Hinckley factory tour. See them being built
@@Banditmanuk only the tfc models and 1200 tiger are assembled in Hinckley?
@davidfisher3273 They were building Tiger 900's when I visited this time last year. They've put in a big new line now that can build most of the bikes in the range.
I honestly do recommend doing the tour, it dispels lots of misconceptions.
@@colin9967The answer is No!
Do yourself a favor and research 😆
I toured Europe on my Triumph in the 70,s then it was my everyday transport for years and years in central London. Great, their back! But why so large engines? 500cc was perfect. Why no longer beautiful metal silver motors? Much nicer, more beautiful, than those cheap looking ugly black things. The silver raw metal engines seemed to say, "look at me, I'm proud, I'm beautiful, I'm the heart and soul of this machine". The new black blobs seem to say, "don't look at me, I'm just an invisible boring opaque blob, look at all the plastic colorful garbage around me instead".
Cool video MOTOBOB 😀5 grand for a 400 and i paid 5 grand for a 125 scooter, lol
Triumph GT900 in my budget
ULTRAVOILETTE F99 is Awesome bike😮
900 GT pro
too bad thailand strips off many featuers of each to make more $$$.
The 400cc bikes are nice
Triumph ❤
Cuman nonton2 aja semoga suatu saat kebeli
why such hi passsenger pegs when you can move them down 10 cm or 4"
No such thing as Growley crank 🤦♂️
I was thinking, out of sink, or more out of balance 😂
Hence more vibrations.
Would you swap a cb650R for a Trident? genuinely?
No! You have a good bike 💪🙌 Unless you don’t like your bike?
Why does Triumph offer beautifully sculpted fuel tanks on the Scrambler 1200’s and cheap looking exposed pinch-welded tanks on their other “classic” models?
Depends on which country it was manufactured & built in 😆
tiger 850
Just ONE comment on the tiger 660…… CRUISE CONTROL…… !!!!….. why they make most of these bikes without them is puzzling. Every channel on here that has test ridden triumphs has complained about the same issue.
Say what you will about triumph, they never stop progressing, both technologically and aesthetically. Kind of put other manufacturers to shame. And this from a Yamaha owner. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
gimme that rocket 3, so I can sell it and get that speed triple GT and a street triple RS
Thruxton 400 incoming
Revzilla tested the 400 Scrambler in India, and found the saddle to be uncomfortable for lack of padding. Short people need to stop buying tall bikes. A tall bike is like a tall woman. It makes a short man look pathetic. Being short is not a stigma, unless you decide to prove you can do anything a tall guy can do. You simply can’t, and for your own self esteem, you should not even try.
Pretty much sums it up 👏🙌😂
I want a rocket 3
