- This is the assembly presentation for my CAD (Computer Aided Design) end of term project for college. The project goal was to design a child's tricycle that would fit a 5 year old child. This presentation outlines the assembly process of the entire tricycle and then shows animation of the handle bars and wheel rotation. The background music is courtesy of Syrian www.spacetalk.net/ and is used with written permission. Enjoy!

machining crank arms to come out equally apposed to each other is a machinists nightmare having them stay apposed to each other after use is dreaming. that is why solid cranks are used. I love your animation.
this is a nice project I was thinking to do the same from scratch in your project add electric powered hub in the front and your good to go!
thank you, it took probably about 100-110 hours, including all the schematics I had to make up for it. It was assigned early because it takes almost all semester and people in the past have run out of time because they did not start it soon enough.
Thanks a million, frnd.....I so loved it......
I do not think much of the practicality, but the drawing is brilliant. Congratulations.
really cool. wonder what program you used.
@idarkwa I used Autodesk Inventor 10 (2009 version I believe)
cheers bro, i used the back wheels to make ma drift trike. good 1
That is awesome!
that moment you realize you spent 10times the amount of time planing it than it takes to actually build it
I got a 100% on this project and 95% overall in this course.
I love this ...New concept ..🦜
This is awesome!!
in which software did you do this video brother ? by the way video is awesome
+Dinesh S.P. Thanks! The animation was done completely within Autodesk Inventor 2009
Awesome👌
The left hand pedal shaft would have to be left hand thread so it wouldnt screw loose when pedaled
Looks good. Did you fabricate and assemble it for real yet?
Amazing - what grade did you get ? I can see that must have taken about 110 hours ! :)
Neat! Keep pushen.
@medicolas No, did not have the time, tooling or space to do so. The cost would likely be prohibitive and I consider this a concept model.
Thanks!
Muy buen proyecto, podrias pasarme por correo el video y el plano ? Gracias. Saludos desde argentina
merci pour la solution, mais il faut respecté les règles de montage des roulements (arbre tournant ou moyeu tournant)
Hi there. Very nice animation. I didn't care much about the vehicle, but the animation sequence is very good. I guess that was your idea, wasn't it? JP
@chuckbear1961 Yes indeed.
Wow nice!
Yeah, if I had to do it again I would use sealed ball bearings instead of plain brass bushings.
Sem corrente? Como os pedal vai puchar pra ter tração kk
ขอบคุณครับ
Did you See the Brox quad.
QUADRACYCLE BROX HPV
boss could you say what are parts and materials used
Did you build the real thing?
Exelente
qué programa usa
I love it but it can only go upward but cannot go backwards cuz the cranks will pop out
Which software did you use for designing ?
Sibasis Nayak Autodesk Inventor 2009.
Thank you guys for 864k views
Thanks for the kind words Doug, hope your endeavors are going well!
Nice
Where are you located?
Good job Jay, now you can build your own tricycle effortlessly! or something.

Autodesk Inventor 10 (2009)
I would have designed one of those cheap saucer sleds and called it a day
Ma se la ruota ha il motore?
yeah it was about 110 hours or at the very least it sure felt like it was, ha ha!
maior erro nesse projeto e a largura do eixo das rodas traseiras quanto mais largo mais estabilidada
Good
👍👏👏👏👏❤️
Hello, what program do you use to design?

When interviewing engineers for possible hire, I've learned the hard way to skip all that crap about college education, previous employment, etc. The place to begin is "Have you ever designed and built something that worked?" Maybe 1 in 10 has done so. The rest are just bullshitters or start-from-scratch trainees who don't know that's what they are.
This video is unfortunately an example of why I have to begin with that question. It's as though the guy has never looked at commercial trikes and asked why they're built that way. Or, passed a first year physics course. Or walked into a welding shop and seen how things are made from tubing.
Where do you sell trikes
l like your interagency
Awesome job, but all that and you put brass bushings on the pedals...... Seriously?!
now I see why all these people building and or designing vehicles for disabled folks are all setting them up for a fall Because thats how their being taught in our messed up school system People if you simply move two tires up frunt and put one tire in back you will build a safer riding trike for all concerned

Who just end up here while searching how to install trike for his/her baby
