To be fair Jungleman is a beast of a cash game player
Not that I’ve seen tons of his footage but I’ve noticed NIk generally SAYS the right thing to do but doesn’t listen to his instinct
I've only just recently started following pro poker again after probably 15yrs and to see jungle still in the mix speaks volumes in a game populated by volatile Degens.
These kinds of pretty undeniably reasonable folds after that crazy bluff by Jungleman are hardly why Nik loses. Nik loses by doing what Jungle just did and getting called.

That was a good fold. He's completely right about his hand's lack of bluffcatching characteristics and without a read, you just have to let it go. The problem with the decision is that Airball did have the read and second guessed it. When it comes to discerning what people are up to our brains are pretty good at that. The reason why reads go wrong is that we are very poor estimators of probability. With every read comes an additional conditional probability question: given I have a read, how likely is it that my opponent is doing what my read suggests? The answer requires you to estimate the probability of an action without the read and the probability of the read without the action (which we are not naturally adept at) and then do math to obtain the posterior probability of the action given the read (which no one who hasn't studied conditional probability will even know the equation for). You have to train for years to gain an intuition for the math here and you don't have years when you're in an $8MM downswing.
Especially against jungle who's more than capable of betting multiple streets with nothing...you just have to call there. Sometimes you're wrong. But that's poker.

Airball is a spot: bluffs off millions with garbage hands and throws away the winners. Then he bad mouths the classy guys in the game like Gman, rambles on and on like he is a pro and then heads to the all you can eat buffett after dropping another million. There is a long line of pros dying to get into this game, and when Nik gets tired of humiliating himself or goes broke first, he will ride off into the sunset, only to be discovered in some smoke filled bingohall in his old age, berating your grandmother regarding her $1 strategy. He is the John Fetterman of poker, shorts, hoodie and all.

Nik is using the highest of no limits hold'em rooms to learn the game how a 2-4 pot limit individual basically does..
He has far to much time and money to move back down from this level and play people that are more his peers and equal than pertisapating at this room and players, the major majority of the people who play in this game this room view airball as the Airball player or the fish the donkey. He has only one consistency and that is losing. He plays far to many hands against players that look forward to re raising an opponent on the river and look forward to taking his money 3 out of 4 times.

Jungle could beat Nik with one card face up. Odd that he raised T8o but the commentator only gives him credit for holding Qxs (not Qxo). Nik likely bets larger than 5k with Qx. That's surely what Jungle is thinking with this raise.

I dont think he can beat any game consistently, not even at 1/2; he can afford to play at 1/2 but he wont be winning consistently. The key word here is consistently folks.

Nik airbag so badly wants to be recognized as a high stakes shark. The only thing keeping him playing at these stakes is his bankroll. I don’t think it’s a downswing, he’s just not good enough to win at these stakes. He’s just another whale who will eventually go bust like so many others have.

I am absolutely convinced that these high stakes games are just money laundering schemes. Nik Airball is a HORRIBLE player. There is NO way he earned his way up to this game. He wouldn't last an hour playing at the $500 buy in game we play.
Nik needs to play online for a few weeks. Refine his skills, or he will have to go back to his finance job very very soon
