- Sometimes it's hard to put into the title what is meant, but the goal of this video was to make the Reaper as strong as possible and then to kill him as he spawns with a weapon that becomes as strong as possible. The plan sounded good until a couple of realizations kicked in, however the result was definitely not disappointing, and in the end every question was answered.

Despite not reaching the goal, I think it's safe to say that we got incredibely far and then faced unexpected issues I didn't consider when making the setup. On low levels it actually works since you get one shot or die super fast until you already have enough damage to kill the Reaper. However, on a high level as he was, there was no way I figured that would get us eventually there. The math calculation of 2 days to 13.6 years is just meant to show how much it varies depending on what happens, e.g. it could also be that we get to a point where the Reaper only hits us every 5 minutes due to the high Curse value and then we recover more than he deals damage, meaning infinite time. I'm glad that in the end we managed to clarify all the open questions and we also know how it could be done, however not in the same setup that would try to get the Reaper as powerful as possible.

its pretty wrong since he wont live to see that happen because at some point he has more regen than the reaper can do dmg = he wont die anymore lol

Had the exact same thought about the chests - the dev should add a "fast chest" mode or option to skip. Total buzzkill waiting for the animation to get gold bags.

Didn't Poncle say that soon there will be a way to cash in all revives? I wonder how that will happen: you simply get a game over or your revives will be set to 0 and you get killed one last time. It will be fun if the awaken bonuses will apply in the second case.
I assume it'll just give you all the gold and end the game, but I *hope* it's the latter.

Fiddling with something usually means that you're aimlessly playing with it, like playing with a fidget spinner or twiddling your fingers. When talking about fiddling with something substantial like a car or your build in this video it means that you're tweaking it little by little until you find what works. A fiddle is also a type of violin.

you can pick up a chest during level up. the chest will then disappear. but it can take a moment until you get the opening animation since it only happens after you are done levelling up.
Yep, but then the chest disappears which tells me I picked it up, in the segments where I wanted the chests they didn't disappear
I don't know if this will help you, but I like to click off screen to force the game to slow down for a moment while I collect chests with that many eggs. Just ALT+TAB or click another window for a second or two and click back. I don't use the TAB slowdown method because that takes forever to recover, whereas clicking off the window only slows the game down for a couple seconds, just long enough to grab a chest or ground spawn.
Yes, alt+tab and pressing tab have the same effect, it adjusts the game to your current FPS vs the FPS it was loaded (or 60, I dont know which one is the case), so at 20 FPS it will slow down the game to 1/3rd of the speed. In the video I was pressing tab, but there was not enough lag to slow down the game

just curious are you playing with a controller? i haven't farmed up that many eggs as you have bun with the controller I have I can move slowly by just barely tilting the joystick

No, Gatti doesnt scale on Bone Zone but even if, a single death outscales Gatti like crazy
are you sure it is 655.350 HP per level the reaper has?
doesn't it get divided by 10 like some other values in the code, then add the x70 for curse and the then missing damage are just from regular enemies
In the code its 65535 and then its all multiplied by 10, the damage and the HP
Heaven Sword for example has 7.7 damage in the code and Soul Eater 2

I find that for calculations that occur in stages like this, Excel is awesome at both automating the calculations as well as presenting the information readably.

Oh, I am a big Excel/VBA fan, but I tend to use calculators if it's just something for a quicky :D Main reason being I am used to Win + "cal" + enter + typing numbers immediately without doing anything else, it just turned bad here because I forgot about Curse doubling health and that there are actually multiple scenarios or rather theories, so I needed multiple numbers. Should've just moved it right away to Excel at that moment

Dex to make it easier on ya my kroichi has 75k eggs the easiest way for stages that don't have out of bounds areas to get the curse items is to alt tab back and forth until its slow enough for you to nabe em up easily.

With 432 revivals and with one starting life, you'd end up having 761,447,540,718,413,694 life total (if the game rounds exactly correctly). You'd kill the reaper 200k times in one hit with that amount of lives

i just tried this using razer macro to continuesly press left mouse button, it worked with the weapons, BUT i got like 10 red reapers spawning and i insta completed the stage lol... revived and game is still frozen trying to figure out wtf happend xD i used the macro when i pressed select champ then it insta click stage, insta get weapon, then i turned it off

Beginner player here - what's wrong with penta chests? I don't quite understand what sort of negative impact they have on the gameplay.
The problem is the reapers speed, so just decreas it a lot of up the damage a lot

Capella Magna might work to try to take this further? You wouldn't be able to track Reaper kills but don't the Trainees also deal 65k a hit? Unless none of them can get any hits in at all.
They deal just a tiny bit of damage (255 according to the wiki) and with the armor it reduces it to 1 per hit, I thought of Capella to keep scaling up HP, however in the long run they wouldn't put a dent into it and the constant freezes would kill this hard

Okay this is insanely good but hear me out for a moment the upgraded Laurel weapon is literally broken if you manage to mega level you're HP in the game with it the red reaper can't do anything to you since the whatever cloak caps all enemy damage to 10

Yeah, you should have done this after the update where you can cash in revives.
Though that only helps if thats not an instant quit option, if the goal is to speed up obtaining revival gold, then it would be logical to also end the run with it

how about going for toastie with divine bloodline which gains around 10 000 HP at level 100 and 65K armor at level 200 (with eggs, it's probably manageable)
edit: the 65K armor makes toastie oblivious to the reaper damages... so she doesn't die... welp

I've slightly tinkered with VS code, and can give pentachest kinda-solution to you (version 0.11.107, not throughly tested, probably can cause side effects if you pick up multiple chests in a short amount of time). In hexeditor, file main.bundle.js:
* search for "this[_0x13b90f(0x425)](0x640" - change 0x640 to 0x040 (this is, presumably, the start of pentachest animation)
* slightly after that there be "this[_0xcf4bf7(0x425)](0x2f44" - change 0x2f44 to 0x0044
* slightly after that will be 'this['Delay'](0x1770' - change 0x1770 to 0x0070
This is a chain of animation delays, blocking the inputs. Numbers are, presumably, delay values, so this patch will drasticaly reduce them. If you have an IDE, you could dig deeper for yourself: format code and change it in your way, edit without respect of file length, etc. But this is the spot to start digging.
How to find this spot in the future updates: Find mention of 'VS_Treasure3Large_v01-03.ogg' - this is the sound of pentachest. That mention would be something loke "_0x540881(0xdcf)], ['assets/sfx/VS_Treasure3Large_v01-03.ogg'" - 0xdcf is the resource id. So, search for 0xdcf (or what will be there in the future). One of the occurences should be something like "_0x4ccb8c['default'][_0x13b90f(0x1150)]['PlaySound'](_0x201fb3['default'][_0x13b90f(0xdcf)]" - thats the spot, thats the start of sound playback, i.e. pentachest opening.

If it's why I didn't take it: only the last level gives 100% Curse and that means chests can evolve sword which I didn't want. I valued the cooldown reduction the sword gets more than the 100% Curse (given we had a couple thousand) since getting torona would've meant to banish sword on lvl 11

Also, why did the white reaper not come for you after you've killed all red deaths available?
That only happens if it's damaged by either Infinite Corridor or Crimson Shroud before dying. If you have neither weapon, it only ends if you die with no revives or quit, and you will neither get eggs from them nor see the white one.
