In February 2020, when China was fighting the COVID-19 pandemic with all its effort, a Greek man named Stelios Miliarakis, who lives in Chengdu, southwest China's Sichuan Province, showed people back home what he saw from his perspective. He runs a Greek restaurant in Chengdu and attracts a lot of customers. #greekfood #china #chengdu

I always respect open minded people who take risks and go move and live in foreign countries and cultures.
I hope you are successful and create a happy life and many good memories in China.
Just curious, was restaurants hit hard during covid lockdown time? Has it all recovered by now? Or people still don't want to eat indoors at restaurants and just takeaway or outdoors still?
Restaurant business is hard enough, even in normal times. Thr Chinese restaurants in USA and west were hit hard..

Everything gradually back to normal. ChengDu didn't quite hit this time. Because react with co-op with locals, back to 3 below 10 to 0 case within couple week.

Foreigners most often find numerous opportunities in China majnland that they could not find elsewhere, not even within their own country or city. I’m really envious on this issue.

I live in Xiamen, there's a Greek restaurant here, Golden Olive. It's alright... I'm from Bulgaria, so I know what's good from that region 😎 Sichuan cuisine is deadly, not for me. Can't handle chillies well 😅

Great video CGTN! I wouldn’t want a restaurant next to a Greek restaurant - it would be packed and mine would be empty!
