It's nice to have a mix of both as covers give her a lot more viewers who wander by when searching for something else. For example I was searching for the La La La because I wanted to find a version that wasn't the official video (Originally I was looking for a lyric video) and instead I came across this video and I listened to it because it caught my eye. She just gained a new fan like that and I bet she's gained quite a few new fans for that. If she does an original song and nobody is looking for her or for her song specifically she's not going to get a big audience because nobody is going to see it. Having covers gets her name out there which isn't a waste of space for a good voice.
