I used kickstarter only once. And it was for a product from someone I trusted and I had no problems, but I don't think I'd use it again. But, I do think that's a cool keyboard. It would be neat if that screen could show live chat for live streams. Or maybe show a timeline when watching movies, or a waveform when listening to music.

A high quality review! Definitely mixed feelings, could use a little refinement before release. I’d like some color options and maybe the option to have lettering on the top but maybe that’s just me!
I would really like it to just .. feel more premium. Compared to the last board i reviewed from them it feels a little on the cheap side.
I have the kickstarter board. I like the board overall, but similar to my RT100, the screen doesn't work after a firmware update. I was able to recover my RT100 (which actually became my daily board), but I can't recover function of this screen. I wish they'd load the latest firmware before shipping. Also, I want to point out that I tried the firmware update because I wasn't able to load an pictures or animations to the screen. It did light up though, now it does not.
As for my experience, I didn't have any issues with the pre-order or the kickstarter deal. I got my code, it went right through and I got the board pretty quickly after the shipment went out. I don't understand why so many keyboard makers do the pre-order thing, its probably my naivety in how the manufacturing of this type of product works, but I feel like they'd have more success just making the board, even in a limited run, and selling it out right.
I would just rather not recommend kickstarter because i personally wont use it. I trust epomaker as a company, but too many issues in the past with the kickstarter stuff. So your screen doesnt even work with the pre sets now?
@@UnboxAnalysisOfficial no it went black after the firmware update. Starting the update crated a new "configuration" with the suffix "_fn", after the update loaded and the keyboard reset the screen was dead. I loaded the update because I wasn't able to upload custom animations out of the box, but, the manufacturer presets worked. I sent a video off to their CS team, we'll see what happens. It would suck to not have the screen, but I really like the board and I've been using it anyway lol.

I have a Kickstarter version. That cap comes off very easily. It is really annoying.
I'll say overall im not impressed with the board quality compared to the other stuff ive tried from them
I.M.O. $140 is a bit much for a keyboard.
I thought so a long time ago, But after all the ones ive tried you really can feel the difference in a lot. Although i do think 140 might be aa bit much for this board.
Not A board for me for sure.
