- NEW CFA STORE creekfishingadventures.store/ Searching for bass over 1 pound in one of my local creeks. I am not a fan of fishing muddy water so i never really thought about bass fishing this medium sized creek until recently. The fishing was tough but really worth it!!

When I can't fish, I watch you fish. YOU ROCK BRO 👊
I'm addicted to this channel. The is the kind of fishing I like.
Thanks, me too

Legend has it, the creek runs through town.
That was insane!! And I like the Flukemaster too! Some of the best fishing holes are tough to get to. But you know this...dont cha? Thanks for the smile!
Looks like a great area to put a kayak in. It's hard to beat creek fishing 👊👍.
Great video
We have a nice creek that runs through the golf course that never gets fished. Last year the 5th largest fish in our state was caught in that creek under a bridge using a spinner bait. Even after that only 4 guys ever fish the area. Creek fishing can be great.
thats crazy, a lot of people dont like walking that much i think. I hope to catch some kind of record someday
Dude this video was awesome! Love those creek adventures!
Hell yeah man... that's my kinda fishin right there👍. Lol ... I know whachu mean by lookin for spots just to get in. A lot like the rivers I fish round me. Good stuff man. Keep em comin😎.
I really like these kinds of videos great video
I love Creek Fishing Adventures.
Awesome video and awesome catches of fish I hope to fish that creek someday
John, you are awesome! There will always be critics as long as there is social media.....pay no attention. Lov'n your videos! Keep m comin!
Good to know i'm not the only one fishing little creeks and walking for "ever" to find the few little access points. (Landed a 2lb smally in Oct in similar little creek running through town)
thats awesome, people keep asking me when i am going to get a boat and i say i havent fished all the creeks around me yet, i dont have time for a boat.
“And He saith unto them, follow me and I’ll make you fishers of men.”
Matthew 4:19
Another great video! Keep em coming! Thanks 🙏🏻
Wow! Awesome video man! U were tearing em up .the best Creek video I've seen I'm a fan.
thanks, that was a fun video
GOOD CLEAN RIVER. FISH LOOK CLEAN
Awesome video, I like the intro too...👍
Fishing small creeks and ponds are some of my favorite spots to catch Bass!
Thumbs up. Reminds me of fishing as a kid.
Love your videos and channel. I mostly fish for bass in creeks and smaller rivers so this is awesome 👍 subbed
It’s fun finding those creek bass
If you're ever in Alabama I'll take you to my old fishing hole or two at creeks I used to fish at.
I live in New Orleans now, but used to live in both Chattanooga and Knoxville. In South Knoxville I fished numerous small creeks and was always surprised.
There’s so many good quality creeks on the east side of Tennessee
With the amount of fallen trees and old logs, looks like quite the spillway, creekwise. Always surprising what these urban creeks and stormwater ponds may hold. Should do a stormwater pond video as well.
This was an awesome video. Those were some nice bass out of a creek
thanks, this was one of my favorite videos, when a plan comes together for big fish
First cast big fish superb
It's a shame that most don't want to put in the effort to fish these types of creeks because it seems like too much work getting to them..but thats ok...more fish for me.Fun Video
And most of these places are on private property.
@@davidpringle8089 streams can’t be private, but the land surrounding it can. The only way your not allowed on is if it’s government owned
Nice job man! Gorgeous fish! I was not expecting some of those to pop outta there
thanks, neither was i
I love your vids man.... Exactly the way i grew up fishing
Love fishing the rebel lures
oh yah, rebel makes some great stuff like the craw and crickhopper
Wow nice fish man
I also love spot hopping small rivers and streams. Here in WI we get mostly smallmouth bass, rock bass and northern pike. Nothing more exciting than a 26" northern pike on a ultralight rod with 4# line.
that would be crazy, never caught a pike
@@CreekFishingAdventures Watch out for the teeth.
Two thumbs up for this video
great video. tight lines D.C
Rebel crayfish is the bomb
Nice fish out of that creek. Haven’t caught any that size in the part I’ve fished lol guess I need to try new spots around town. Great video once again 👊🏻
a few sections i fished looked good but didnt get a bite, i now know for sure they are in there
Awesome videos man
thanks
Great fishing
Awesome couple of days bro!!
i enjoyed the results on this one for sure
"Holy Cow!"
I thought the Cubs were playing there for a second.
Pretty decent sized bass for a creek!
You could try a jig, I use them in creeks like that and it seems to get a bigger bite- love your videos
ok, i will have to give that a try, i don't use jigs much, but if it catches more fish im fore it. I tried using ned rig some but they got hung up on stuff really fast
I have a creek here just like that one. Need to go try it out. Great video man!!!
HoosierbackOD thanks, hope you do it
Perfect kayak water
theres a lot of big log jams but also some nice calm stretches
Good Blake Bess bearyful ☘️👍🔔
Using a verse of scripture with a reference to fish in it...nice touch! Great video!
Awesome video...very exciting ..wish I could find a good fishing spot close, I have to drive like an hour or more hahaha can't stop on a better note, Your larges Bass yet great video that was fun to watch :) thanks
thanks, im glad i have all kinds of water around me
We need a flathead video brotha. Some of these spots look like they could hold some GIANT catfish
Nice vid
Also I think the best fishing is around large submerged rocks or old trees in water. Good bass
Yah I agree
I have a good luck using beetle spins. Black head, white eye and a white Yum Bait. Bass can't leave them alone.
I’m going to try those more
Good ol rebel craw and rooster tail.
Never underestimate small creeks in your local areas. I have three local creeks close to my house that are walking distance and have caught 4 and 5 pound bass out of them;no one ever fishes the creeks because they say that there’s no fish in them...better for me!!😂😂
Nice Video. I like that trailer hook setup! bass lures get it done in creeks
it took me 4 years to try it in this creek, glad i finally did
Try a float tube? You have total control with one for areas like this
Crooked Creek over in Flippin Arkansas is the best Bass fishing I’ve ever gone. 2.5 pounder the other day
ssshhhhhh don't tell everybody about that amazing little gem
@@lukefletcher1104 yes sir
That's is great fun catching one after another. Could you get a small canoe in there. That could be amazing
I’m going to try to get a kayak in this summer
I've fished that last spot once and I might go again today
the place that had the most access was at westwood church
just saw this , july 11 2019 I stopped as soon as you said "2 1/2 # " I said "Nah" 2.2. that is a great creek. , I do however agree w/ Travis you need boots or & a kyak... love your videos and excitement ... Thank You
I love fishing small creeks like this. I have a segment on my channel called road side creek fishing where I basically drive around and find little creeks on the side of the road and I fish em.
thats the kind of fishing i like, i will be checking those out
@@CreekFishingAdventures I will be making some more very soon as I have been finding new places on google earth to do so!
At 11:58 I guessed 2.2lbs. Nice fishin man
i like guessing before weighing them sometimes
I just keep watching all your videos brother and is that candies creek Cleveland TN? oh yeah I use to fish in mouse creek all the time right in the middle of Cleveland catching red eye bass
i love mouse creek, yah this is candies creek
Creek Fishing Adventures me too brother and thank you...i once caught a bass with two sets of spurs and a 3 eyed catfish out of mouse creek haha but yeah mouse creek some good fishing
Nice set ups man i have the same set up mitchell spining 8 ball bb 7 ft abu garcia
i recently got the mitchel reel and i am liking it for the money
I know you mentioned that you can’t kayak the creek; is it accessible by wading or float tubing? You’d have your own secret honey hole if you could secure that kind of access!
I have been looking and thinking about trying to do something like that. I would say part of it could be waded but I’m not sure how deep some places are and there are steep mud banks and lots of debri in it. I think I may have found a few spots 100- 200 yards long that I could get a kayak in next summer. I’m definitely going to try bass fishing it more
Good video. New sub here👍🏼
Hey man, great creek fishing, I'd love getting together with you and try our luck in Cleveland. Let me know. I'm in CA right now doing some trout fishing. Great Job Man! Sherman Henderson
....Oh! yes, I'm from Mississippi!
hope you do well out there, would love to get together sometime
Linda música!
I bet there is some big flatthead catfish in that creek
Rebel craw is my favorite creek lure, hands down. Get you some shorts and sandals or water shoes and wade that creek!
yah the craw is great, i have thought about trying to wade it but its muddy and some deep spots with lots of trees and branches throughout, i might try some next summer
@@CreekFishingAdventures I have a nice creek close to me that's similar, but there are long stretches of it that can be waded. It's pretty frustrating not being able to get into those nice deep holes that I know must have a muskie in them.
How many lures did you lose? Some of that looks like Lost Lure Lagoon! You catch more bass in a week than I’ve caught in my life. Day yum!
this is probably the toughest place to fish for losing lures, i really can only use weedless or i go with a fullsize spinner, and still lose some
what kind of go pro set up do you use ? Seems to have good video and audio.
hero 5 with a cheap microphone clipped on
Do you have a yak? Might have to drag it a ways but it could be worth it. Academy has some decent ones for around $300...
yah i got a 12 ft sundolphin kingsport, i have found a few places to put in and out here when i get time
Good stuff...in Cleveland today, but didn't bring my rod...lol
you need to take your grandson to fish the greenway in cleveland, usually can catch several coosa bass
@@CreekFishingAdventures I do...but he just turned 13 and is always "busy" with friends...lol...maybe I can drag him out soon
So where is this creek and what is its name? Thanks for posting. Good on ya mate.
Candies creek in Cleveland TN
@@CreekFishingAdventures , Thanks. I looked on the Internet. I'm old and stuck for the balance of my life in corruptifornia so I'll not be fishin' Candies Creek. Enjoy.
Hey creek fishing adventures, I was wondering if you do any catfishin around creeks cause I do, it's actually pretty fun tbh and we're I live at the creeks are filled with yellow bull head cats, and they love chicken livers and cheese cubes, and I usually use a basic bottom rig like a Carolina rig, but I'm curious bro and I love the videos btw, keep catching them fish!🤘
this creek here i have caught a few channel cats and plan to try focusing in on them this summer, i have only caught 2 or 3 bull heads in my life. its hard to find them, mostly 1 -2 pound channel cats. i want to do a video where i go to the same spots and just fish the bottom. i wish i new how and where to catch more bullheads
Oh ok cool and usually I find the lil bullheads around creek pools and using chicken livers or cheese cubes, but I'd like to see some catfishin and see your techniques how you catch em, and thanks for replying my comment, and I wish you luck out there and happy fishin
@@grungeboy1752 thanks i need it for catfishing, thats something i have started trying but it hasnt been going well. Right now i have some frozen bluegill in the freezer waiting for the next time i will be able to go for catfish. im going to try that cheese cubes
hey i caught a bullhead this afternoon, it was actually tangled in my line and wasnt even hooked
I wonder how it got tangled in your line bud
You know what I'm always doing is looking for new places that nobody fishes and I've been doing that for very long time because I know in those places that's where the monsters are at I've always said it
yes and they are not pressured
I noticed you cutting off your spinner to change lures, you ever use swivels? Or a reason you dont? I always do, esp with how much I change out lures/between lures and live bait. Just so much faster than to tie everytime
i use swivels sometimes, it can make the lure work differently sometimes
@@CreekFishingAdventures gotcha. I guess I just use live bait more than lures, so I never got a feel for the difference of using a swivel or not with lures. Growing up, my father taught me/always used live bait, so I didnt start with lures till I was in my 20s I think
@@fkbuki ok, theres so many ways to fish and everybody has a way they like but lots of ways work
No doubt brother. Good luck in your future fishing endeavors! Really glad I found your channel!
Great way to end a vid!
I am excited about fishing it again this year for bigger ones
Sir.. If you could share what type of lure or bait you are using for fishing on your videos is highly appreciated. Thank you sir.
ok i will try to make sure i do that, thanks for the input
@@CreekFishingAdventures thank you sir... 😁😁
Where were you fishing in the day two clip
the bridge on old harrison pike
🤗😎
If you ever want to fish a creek like this in middle, TN. Hit me up. Untouched water with good fish.
sounds exciting, i will try to do that

#1 ruleof bank fishing.....wear boots
Nah. Only wear boots in cold weather, even then your feet will most likely get wet anyway. I used to cut survey lines in the geophysical exploration field for oil and gas in La, Miss, Tx, Al, Fl and Ok. We were wet every day, a lot of times all day. I waded the Lake Maurepas swamp all day for two weeks in January of 88, before I could find chest waders in my size, it was warmer to just stay in the water. Experience taught me that in warm weather it is better to just wear shoes that drain well and dry quickly, it's better for the feet. Snakes? Ha! Ha! Ha! If you're scared of snakes don't even apply for that job, stay home, work at wallyworld or mickey d's, because you WILL work AMONG them! I'm going to blow your mind now. Hands down, and I wouldn't have believed it had I not seen it myself, the most snakes I ever saw at once, without any doubt, was... during a freaking snow storm! A SNOW STORM. Again, Lake Maurepas swamp, February 5, 1988. I'll never forget that shit, there were snakes EVERYWHERE we looked, on everything, on stumps, on trees, on limbs, even blower up like gallons and floating on top of the water. One monster Cottonmouth even struck the swamp buggy as we tracked by him. That was some.FREAKY SHIT right there! But anyway, quick draining/drying shoes are actually best, and you can swim better if the need arises, and it most likely will. Gotta love these creek fishing videos.
Blowed up like balloons. Can somebody buy auto correct a fuckin clue????
Oh I am definitely going to be wearing boots when I go fishing at a pond in Fredonia Ohio on thursday February 20th as mild as this winter has been the fish will bite pretty good probably
Praise Jesus. Great vid
John, you used the spinnerbait a lot in this video which tells me they were really active. Just out of curiosity, did you break out the Hellgrammite at all and especially towards the end of the video when you caught Mr. 2.29??? Just wondering If you tried the Hellgrammite at all there.
No I dont use it in this creek because it’s too easy to lose on all the logs
Does my creek have large mouth bass in it. I live in NC
Large mouth seem to live in almost every creek except for mountain streams
Nice spinnerbait action
it seems to be the best for this creek, i have lost so many other lures from hanging up on logs
Yea, least spinnerbait its weedlest
Is this at Fletcher?
yah part of it is
I think Im the only creek fisherman that doesnt use rebel craw cranks
.9 lets see
If your gonna fish places like that you might need invest in pair muckboots .
Your right, and I finally bought some for this year
Man up and get some boots!
haha, i hear ya
U R just guessing you come close to the weight
Hate when you guys hold the fish outta water for so long.
Good video, try to get the fish back in the water quicker
Why don't you get some waders?
i wade all the time without waders, plus i do have waders when i want to use them. this creek is very muddy and tons of trees in stuff to get hurt on
Indonesia
well hello, thanks for watching
You know that fish can't breath out of water right
hmm, if you say
What?
