This tutorial are awesome, i use Blender since 2019 and now I wanted to learn something about Geo-Nodes. Your tutorial are the best! Thank you very much for sharing with us, have a good one!
Superb. Also love how you share the in between details too. What you're clicking, which keys you're pressing, what some other options can do, even though they aren't IN the final result. New subscriber obtained :)
Sometimes there are some jumps in the video, could not follow step by step, BUT who I am, critique would be silly ... I thank you very much for inspiring me and helping me with this great content. Please do further more videos of this excellent quality.
Joey: what u can do is just use this simple node right here and it gives u some decent effects Me: OMG THATS SO EPIC :o I can't believe how amazing this is
So Damm freaking awesome thanks. I messed 2 times but I fixed it at first I just forgot to delete the modifiers so If any one ran into similar issue just delete the sololidify and smooth modifier 😅
When I pressed ctrl x on split edges geometry node it made the mesh all distorted and weird so I put it back. It didn't work for me. I am using blender 3.1 and its no longer in Beta test
Thank you so much, i had a problem in 3.3 version, with the smooth modifier, I had to set the Repeat of the smooth modifier to zero, problem Bottom and top scale.
hello sir, can you help me please. i would like to rotate the greebles on surface. so the mesh will stay static and the surface rotate / the gemoetry nodes rotate along the surface. i did all this mechanic you showed in this tutorial, but where i can add " rotation " nodes ? in the function node ? or outside in the overall nodes setup ? i cant figure out wher i can connect the rotation node so i can simple rotate the geometry nodews along the surface. btw. i add this technice on a torus and just want to have rotated gemoetry nodes. thanks sir hope this could be awnsered easy. thanks sir have a great day !
Did you do those lines / rectangles coming out of that square shaped (in the render ) procedurally or manually and if so could you make a video on how you did it ? Could be extremely versatile in use for many different things thank you 🙏 and this video was great 👍 🔥🔥
Yeah, that was procedural. I modelled some simple shapes, like 5 of them. Then I instanced them on the points of a cylinder to create a whole bunch of them. I randomized the position slightly, and and also deleted them with a random boolean node.
So the question is HOW? How on earth do you know this so well? Is it all trial and error? Or did you upload something to your brain 🧠? Thanks for this knowledge. How do I download your mind
⚠ There's an easier way to do this with the repeat node in 4.0! Watch this to learn more: czcams.com/video/K-L2eIHu7ic/video.html
This is really programming for artists. Excellent tutorial
3.1 launched today! Now I can finally use all these awesome generators as assets.
I am equally excited about this, as a person
Why didn't i found this channel earlier ... this is some really advanced high quality content sheesh ,keep it up man well done
Perfectly replaces the grid breaker add-on !! Nice!

That is very cool. Even leaning about Edge Split was new to me!
Great video, prefectly paced!

5:50 Thats amazing
This is pure gold mate, please keep up with the great tuts!
Really impressive what one can do with geonodes! Thanks for sharing.
Awesome! And I never use a Remesh modifier as cubic before a subdiv modifier! Very nice tip.
Yeah that was brilliant thank you! Learnt heaps about Geo Nodes :)

nice!
they should rename "geometry nodes" to "magic"
mmm gimme them greebles
In the Geometry Nodes 3.0, can the approach shown work with an underlying cylindrical or spherical object?
Is there a way to make each square a different color using the 3.1 geometry nodes method?
Please say me, how doing what car move and drop cube automatic?
I can't see Scale Elements node on the list :/ Using 3.1
You might have to update to a newer build
@@JoeyCarlino I've reinstalled it and it works now! Great video btw!
