easy and quick I like it thanks
Great video bud
Well, I said I was going to try this so I did. It hasn't been but a couple years we been able to hunt over bait or food in Georgia. So I mixed this up last Monday like you showed and set it out about 15 feet from my ground hide (I'm a still hunter, from the ground and use brush and such to cover up). Last week was Buck only ... and every day I saw more does then I ever seen together at one time ... but no bucks ... and last week was supposed to be the rut according to the calendar. I stopped counting at 10 and every day I saw way more than that.
THIS STUFF WORKS ... no doubt about it. I'm a meat hunter anyway and only hunt to put something on the table. I figure I need at least 2 does ... maybe 3. I'll let you know how I make out ... but I'm telling you ... I NEVER seen so many deer. Amazing.
Man that’s awesome. Can’t eat the antlers. I’m trying to get my freezer filled. We currently been in gun season and I haven’t seen much and like you my area is buck only during gun season. Good luck.
Question: Did you mix it up with corn or did you use the powder mixture straight on the ground? Thanks mate. John
Why would you need an attractant to put on corn? Here in GA. Corn itself is about the best attractant. Just a wasted step and time.
I will try it...
Seguindo vc aqui do Brasil irei fazer a mistura ,parabéns pelo conteúdo .
It does work.
How much do you add per 50 lb bag? I made something like this last year got the recipe from NBWildman, didn't add any salt and I used between 1/3 and 1/2 cup per 50lbs. The deer could not get enough of it. I'm going to try this one this year. Nice video
I typically use between a 1/2 to 3/4 cup per 50 lbs. Don’t go real heavy on the salt, you don’t even have to add if you don’t want to. Thanks for watching.
@@JarredMurphyOutdoors I have a mineral blk out for them so thereby no salt & a yrd pond so thereby ample h20 BUT I DO NOT hunt them only stand in my kitch wndow @ night & enjoy them...
I appreciate y'all putting up these vids. I wish you could of set up your trail cam to see how it does but I am definitely gonna give this a try up here in north Georgia.
I currently am working on that vid right now.
Did you get a chance to use it?
@@courtneyturner314 Yes. It was AMAZING. I set the bait up about 30 feet from my ground blind ... some days I would see 20+ deer at the bait, unfortunately does in buck season ... in fact I saw no bucks at all last year. Over this summer I did see a number of bucks in the same spot. I think my chances will be better. But to answer your question ... YES ... this stuff works!!!
Awesome to hear it worked for you!!
@@JarredMurphyOutdoors I really wish you could have been there to see it. I've never used bait for deer ... and the results were amazing. It's easy to do and cheap.
Would this work if I decided to pour over a stump instead of corn? Would the stump absorb the mixture where the deer keep coming back to it?
To be honest, I’m not sure I’ve never tried it out but I’m sure it would. I’d prob go a little heavier on the salt in that situation.
Salt is a good idea, maybe add a nearby water hole for after they eat.
Dude I ate it before I got to my food plot 🤣
😂😂
Can you add it to a drum of corn with a auto deer feeder, or will it clog the funnel ?
You can just make sure water doesn’t get in.
So lobe the videos. U have better luck in summer or winter with this. I made some and put out today to see if they react
It works all year just mix w corn
Made and tried. Finally got deer on it during day and night. Great content. Keep the videos coming. Fellow Kentucky guy here leaving in Missouri now
I use basically the same recipe but mix 4 times the ingredients at a time and store it in an empty Luck Buck container. Last all season
This stuff works so good, after spending 6 hours building a blind and semi heavy construction, I filled up my feeder and had deer there 3 hours later. They managed to eat around 300 pounds of corn in a week and a half.
Anybody got tips on getting the yellow jackets away from my feeder so I can refill it? LOL
Spray with liquid soap
I am going to try this in the Pacific Northwest this week I’ll try to remember to update how it works
I’m sure if you have bears in your area it will attract them as well. I didn’t mention that in the video. I have gotten a few bears on camera.
@@JarredMurphyOutdoors got bears on my camera last week and I have a bear tag
@@hawkfan72 even better
@@JarredMurphyOutdoors well it’s been getting hit hard deer elk and bear
@@hawkfan72 that’s awesome
Most any salt works. I just use plain salt. I like using imitation vanilla as well.
Your going to give the deer sugar shock!!! I"m going to try this
I don’t use it all the time but when I do it works. It doesn’t take much to coat 50lbs
My wife tells me I'm gonna give them diabedis or cavities. I just need to give them a home in the freezer.
I just did a video on this too!!
I’ll check it out. Thanks for watching.
I spice that up a little bit and put a big box of reasons and a bag of pre-shelled walnuts from Costco
I’ll def try that
Do ya just sprinkle it on the corn..or mix it
I sprinkle it on, but you can mix it as well..
What’s the best way to mix it with the corn?
I pour my corn on the ground then take about a 1/2 cup and sprinkle it on top of corn pile.
@@JarredMurphyOutdoors That sounds a lot easier than any of the ways I thought to. Thanks.
Concrete mixer! 🤣
What do you do next? How do you give it to them?
I mix so much of it in corn
Do you have to put the baking soda in it?
The baking soda is just bi carbonate which is salt plus it helps it stick to corn. No you don’t have to use it at all.
@@JarredMurphyOutdoors thanks
How do you apply it to the corn?
I typically just spread my corn out then just pour it over top of the corn.
What does baking soda do?.
It’s just a type of salt plus it helps it to stick to the corn.
what if you used vinalla pudding and not jello
I’m not sure. It prob would work.
Also good for attracting raccoons and possums.
You ain’t lying. Also will bring in a bear or hog if they are in your area.
Iv not tried this recipe exactly but something similar. Got more coyotes than anything lol guess my coyotes got a sweet tooth.
I might have a problem with it. 100 acres of corn field and soy beans on the other side.
But that corn doesn’t smell like the corn you about to put out so guess where they gone
Can u put up all the ingredients please
The ingredients should be in the description.
Baking Soda is to keep acids down in stomach
I did the same as u
I’ve always had good luck with it. I hope you have as well.
@@JarredMurphyOutdoors ok I have deer on my property but they don’t come out to the food area do you think this would make them come more
Every property is different. Depending on the region you live in you may have white and red oaks to compete with. I would love to tell you yes it would as deer love sweet food. If they are coming in some this should make them frequent more.
Texoma Dear won't go near the stuff. Waist of$
LOL, MAYBE THAT WILL ALSO WORK ON BASS!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes, but are you making the deer sick?
!
I’m sure a person could if you fed this all the time or fed them any type of feed all the time. I only use attractants sparingly and it doesn’t seem to have bothered the deer herd on my property.
I put this stuff out and my trail cam pictures divided by 2. Wtf..
That’s unusual!! Did you mix it with corn, and do you have acorns dropping where your located?
@@JarredMurphyOutdoors I'm surrounded by birch and pine. I mixed a little bit with some mineral. Has anyone mixed it with oats?
@@johnknar5315 I’ve never had any luck with oats in past. I’ve only ever used it with corn.
Imagine how many ants it would attract too. But it will probably be worth it.
For sure
Why so much stuff ? Just put in less, cheaper , easier, quicker.
Why dont you just them, instead of baiting
I do hunt deer, I feed the deer herd that frequent my property year round.
Can you put too much kool aid ? Lol
What does the baking soda do
It helps it to stick to the corn plus it’s a type of salt. I’d say the more kool aid the better, but gotta have the balance with sugar or it can be more sour than sweet. ( I think )
@@JarredMurphyOutdoors 10-4 I appreciate it
@@JarredMurphyOutdoors where are you from? I’m in east Texas, I was just wondering if it changes from place to place on how the deer may respond
Hell I maybe reading too much into though
I’m from South East Kentucky. I I’ve tried this on several areas here and it has worked really well. Good thing is it’s inexpensive to make. If you try it use about 1 cup per 50 lbs. let us know if you try it and if it works in East Texas.
Ant attractant.............
constipated deer with high blood pressure and diabetes lol
How to give deer diabetes
I don’t use this this every time I put it out something just only on occasion.
