@MetallicBill this is actually the first time I've seen him with a Dean, but never in a live Concert! I've known that Schenker came out with the Black & White FV, he played with a Black FV & a White FV with UFO ,then on the Lovedrive tour ,he played with the Black & White then left Scorps in the middle of the tour & came back as MSG with the B & W FV!!
I don't remember this but may be I saw it in 1980 when I saw the first video from Scorpions "make it real". Here in Puerto Rico we had for that time only in channel 8 in "cable tv" on fridays and saturdays rock videos after 9:00pm and I used to stay awake late at night to see Scorpions videos.
@MetallicBill OK, I see your point, yes you're absolutelly correct!! I liked the Dean F V but I never really liked the headstock & the the ones without them even less, but just my own opinion but that's just the look , but am not an expert on guitars if it sounds with great tone & played well I like it!!

@MetallicBill At first when I saw Schenker live making the transitionn to the Dean I really didn't like the tone he had & obviously they had modified that FV Dean to the tone he had with the Gibson in his MSG early '80's tone & now I see he has his own signature guitars aswell as Rudy, & I noticed he uses at least 3 effects pedals plus his usual Wah Pedal,! I got a question for you if I may: Do you know what modifications Dean made to Michael's Dean Guitar?
