Don't you just love that feeling, when you've loaded your bike to the max (and beyond) and all she wants to do is dance? I've got an '86 Honda GL1200 Goldwing that I often haul heavy with - I use it for everything, haul a 12 foot flatbed trailer behind it for farm supplies, have hauled 1200# behind it - power is no problem, but brakes are a bit dodgy at that weight. I also haul my pop up camper - it's a blast. The worst of your road there is a lot like the 5 mile road into my remote farm in South Florida after a rain. Deep sugar sand and puddles. The road looks alot better than it did in 2001 , when me and my mate did it by Bus.. Santa Cruz - Asuncion. It was the journey the lonely planet advised you to avoid at all costs. It certainly gave us alot to remember over the 2 and a half days...I remember a place called Boyuibe in Bolivia where we were marooned for 1 night and it was literally chainsaw massacre kind of territory!
You always breeze through every where, I would want to stop and take it all in!

Could of had free lunch with all those grasshoppers and you paid for a meal, they taste great over a grill and roasted super crunchy with a little salt and pepper or even hot pepper spicy snake all day long.
