- Looking back to tamang history,conditions of tamang people and his experience with Shyam Kumar Tamang, freedom fighter from Jana mukti sena which fought against Rana regime for democracy. Janamukti sena was armed force of Nepal congress around 2007 BS. In this five part series Mr tamang presents his experience, remembers condition of tamang during the rana regime and then after. He has also authored a book "JanaMukti sena-Euta na lekiyeko ethihas" in which he has narrated all the events with details. For his full introduction please watch the video. Other parts will be uploaded later in certain intervals (total five parts). Remembering and knowing condition of tamangs.

It is time to know about the true origin and history of tamang community
We should not just believe in the stories floated by some people ,We should read books written by eminent historians,learned people,we should carry out research works search for historical evidences and try to throw more lights on the rich and varied culture and tradition of our tamang society

Look when the Shah and then the Rana were in power it does not mean that in every corner, principalities and village there were peoples from the ruler family that were in the administration. Every village and principalities have their own governor or Kaji or Mukhiya whatever 🙄, and most of the time they were choosen from the majority of ethnic groups living there. So anyone could be Kaji or Mukhiya of a particular place. And any others ethnic or cast peoples living there must have to obey that person.
For example in Limbuwan there were 10 Subba ( subba is title, they are Limbu peoples).
The normal Limbu peoples have to obey him and also the others cast peoples like Bahun, Chettri, Magar, Gurung, Tamang , Dalits etc living there have to obey the Limbu Subba.
It not like If a Bahun person commits a crime he or she will not be prosecuted. May be the Bahun will get lighter sentences but will be prosecuted by the Mukhiya or Kaji whoever is in charge of that area.
The Tamang majority places have Tamang Mukhiya.
Common peoples of any cast or ethnic groups who were outside the administration or power had hard life whether it is Bahun, Chettri, dalits or Matawali. They were taken advantage from these "Sasak" rulers who would most of the time be from their own ethnic or tribe group.
Yeah it true that few groups of peoples were subrogated for the interest of the person who is sitting on top of the hierarchy in a certain period of times but not always.
And I choose "Bahun" because peoples have misperception that because bahun were higher cast they were given free ride, that is not the case.
Why There Is No History Of Tamang Community In Nepal???

U guys should revive ur old culture and speak ur own language. I know separating from Tibet for long time and living under Nepal has mixed the culture and even more influence from Nepali culture and language.
