Wow im so grateful to come across this video ! Ive been going to a church for about 8 months ...i started seeing things that i didn't feel was right but i ignored it and asked God to help me unsee what i was seeing ....i stay to myself and limit my conversations with certain members...some would gossip to me about others so ... the praise team shows conflict while singing ...the eyes rolling and small comments while leaving the alter ...the one that plays the keyboard went to testify but brought up people talking about his daughter ! Im a new Christian so seeing all this is wild to me ...the women do things together and exclude anyone new ..i see posts on things the church does with sister churches and wander why i wasnt invited ..and gear tye testomonies the following sunday how they had a great time and they always say if you didn't make it you missed out ...all the new people werent invited ..ive seen so many people come and go and it saddens me to see i feel my pastors spirit trying so hard to get the church moving but sad to say his wife is one of the ones on fb in aervice and rolls her eyes at people i dont say nothing i hug and greet everyone but my spirit is sad for everyone ive been praying asking God to direct me and protect me from the circle and i ask him why im there i dont know if im there to being change or pray for everyone i have much to thank god for what he's done in my life ! My testimony is full of grief trauma and healing and god is still helping me and i look around and wander how can this be possible....this video gave me insight and spot on !! It was truly meant for me to see and brings more understanding god bless you 🙏🙌
Just like when Paul confronted Peter because he refused to sit with the Gentiles in the presence of fellow Jews.. Peter was participating in a clique and Paul was incensed!
When leadership becomes too powerful, when they begin operating a church like a business and members can no longer ask questions and receive care - then the church is not operating as a body where each member exercises their spiritual gift. I'm not sure that it is a church anymore but it becomes a religious social club.
Like when the same 10 people keep getting recycled, in the leadership callings: Relief Society presidents, & councilors who choose the teachers. Bishops who choose the Relief Society President, & Primary President, who chooses the Primary teachers, Sunday School President who chooses the Gospel Doctrine teacher, & youth teacher. Notably chosen for musical talent, money, status, or when they're 3rd generation family, is firmly entrenched in a congregation. Everyone else gets marginalized, fed up, & some leave.
Every church throughout the land need to hear this sermon. Thank you Brother for this message.

Sometimes the leader is the one that formed the group and stirs up the strife and division.
