- The DS is an amazing system and a must have if you like RPGs. Here I take you through my DS collection. Also notice how years of telemarketers have finally taken their toll when I mispronounce my last name several times in a row.

Awesome collection man. So glad to see some of the games I have here and how you described them as I have not played the majority of my DS games. I came in way late to the party and never owned an original DS. got my 3DS in 2013 and now I am trying to build both libraries. Just found some new old videos of yours, collection videos that is, and I like them quite a bit so let's binge watch hehe.
@MrRPGcrazy hmm well Fire Emblem on the Gamecube is a good one to start with, though I'm not sure if it was released in your region or not. While it was hard if you mess up as long as you save at every opertunity you can just restart the battle since units die permanently. I guess I like the learn from your mistakes aspect to tactics games, while I had to restart a lot in Fire Emblem due to losing a unit I usually didn't make the same mistake twice.
Fantastic collection! I'd recommend Dragon Quest Heroes: Rocket Slime. It's a Zelda-esque game with giant tank battles. Really fun. Also, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective. You're basically a ghost trying to discover how you died and why. You possess inanimate objects in the game to change the outcome of things. It's really neat. If you liked Trace Memory, you might also like Hotel Dusk: Room 215. It's from the same studio. Great mystery visual novel adventure, and it has a pretty unique art style, too.
@MrRPGcrazy Yeah i was just going to remark on how level-5 made that. I haven't picked it up but every gamestop here has it for cheap so I may here soon. Let me know how it is when you get around to it. You could try to import some of the GBA Fire Emblems from the states, I dunno what the shipping would be but I think you can pick up those for around $15 apiece.
@MrRPGcrazy Yeah we have pretty similar collections. The only big RPG I am missing that I want is Soma Bringer which is a Japanese import. Just haven't got around to getting that yet, you should check it out.
@MrRPGcrazy I would probably go with Fire Emblem or Front Mission on the DS. Disgaea is always a good choice and there is a port of the first game for a lot of different systems. Of course there is always the Final Fantasy Tactics series and Tactics Ogre that was just released on the PSP. What all have you played?
@MrRPGcrazy No I haven't. It is one of many that i have that i haven't got to yet. I have heard though, it is ok but don't expect anything like the rest of the series.

@MrRPGcrazy I heard that you don't have to play the GBA Golden Suns due to the DS version retelling what happened in them, but I am sure as an RPG nut you'd want them anyway. haha.
Great collection. Your solatorobo video really got me interested in the game. Anyway so many great RPGs I missed growing up (sorta) with the ds.
