Well done Rick top job mate. I dread the day my pump packs in. I have always managed to clear any blockages or air locks in the past by blowing hard down the pipe. On the odd occasion I havnt had enough puff to clear it I have let the wife do it as she is full of hot air😂😂😂
Nice fix, my pump blocked last brew day on my Brew Monk but cleaning it is not as easy as the Klarstein (just more dismantling). Thinking about it, my old solar pumps were a similar design to that yours, I guess the basic design is the same across most pumps.
Great update as usual but what the hell is going on with CZcams 🤔. I was busy earlier in the year so didn't get round to watching any videos at all so I missed a couple of yours and since then I haven't had any notifications. Out of sight out of mind and it was only a recent comment of yours that made me go look. Maybe I'm a fuckwit (well perhaps without the Maybe 😉🤣) but I thought that your subscriptions list was supposed to be ordered in most watched and most recently watched order 🤔? your channel was below channels I've subscribed to but only watched once, if at all, not up near the top where I would have expected it 🙄. I can only apologies profusely about missing around five months of videos, I don't get to watch them all, and even if I do I might not get time to comment but come on CZcams sort out the Subscribed to list ordering! Apologies again as I went into rant mode and don't have an undo button 😉🤣. I'm glad that you got the impeller pump sorted, very similar, although on a larger scale, to a pet fountain impeller pump. That was similar, thought it was a sealed unit until I just pulled on the impellers, turns out it is a standard immersed pump design. It has to be run wet as it relies on the liquid to prevent the parts making full contact with each other and damaging them. I will try to get "up to date" but with my workload and the amount of video's that come out it may not be possible 😟. Stay safe and well, SIR, cheers, Schnuz.
I have an Idea for a filter, that would be easy to take apart, can`t post a parts list, only needs four bits a simplified version of my tube filter, there in my parts box send a link or do a hack vid
