Today, I share what's inside my hospital bag for my Tummy Tuck procedure in 5 days time and also my preparation for after the operation too.
Can't believe it's been 8 and half months already. I've been trying to soak up as much time with Isaac and Ayla as possible before the procedure. Hope all goes well. Next time you hear from me, hopefully it will be post op. Keep you guys updated! Wish me good luck! Your prayers will be so very much appreciated.

Make sure your charger cord is long! In my hospital the outlets are so inconveniently placed so be prepared!

Yes !!! This lol just had surgery .. charging was the worse phone ended up reaching the foot of my bed when plugged 😂
@Amy Kawaii no tummy tuck for me, just other ER visits and procedures that come along with being chronically ill.
All the prep work that you've done and taken the time to explain things is helpful for me to know to being someone who's going into healthcare. I have no idea when this will come in handy, but it feels like it will. Thank you for all the tips.

I just got my tummy tuck 4 weeks ago! I am so exited for you Lindy! The surgery is very invasive, but seriously it’s the best decision I’ve ever made! I just started using the embrace silicone patch 2 weeks ago and it made my skin super itchy and uncomfortable. It also came off really fast for something so expensive, even after I washed the area with soap and wiped with alcohol it still came off. The sheets aren’t flexible so when you sit it crease and may cause your skin to blister too. My doctor also said his patients were experiencing the same problem. The other silicone scar sheets you have in the white and blue box is actually better. I bought some even better ones on Amazon called HANASCAR scilicone sheets. Give it a try if the embrace doesn’t work out. I wish I could return it but it has already past the return period. Can’t wait to see your next video! Good luck!!
I had an organ taken out from me a week ago, and I will definitely say - GO HOME IN YOUR JAMMIES :D Rest as much as you can, remember to take your poop softeners so you don't have to move your abs too much when pooping, and DON'T wear shoes with shoelaces, just some slip ons :) Love xx

@@yamibakura16 gallbladder, no biggie, but I like to tell people that I had an organ scalpeled out of me because it sounds dramatic 😂
I had gall bladder surgery last year (also considering a tummy tuck now) and I would HIGHLY recommend going home in your jammies!! Nurses and doctors have seen everything, and honestly nobody cares what you're wearing. Comfort is the most important thing while you're recovering, and having worked in hospitals I can absolutely say that everyone there understands that! Do what your doctor tells you as you're recovering, and if something hurts, don't try to strain yourself to do it. Sleeping partially reclined/sitting up helped me in the first 2 weeks after surgery, but again, do whatever is comfortable for YOU! Sending good vibes your way!

Leave the hospital in your jammies! They actually recommend that! Loose clothing is recommended so as not to put pressure on the incision site! Good luck Lindy!

Even though this is “elective” you are going through major procedure!! Be kind to yourself or all this is for not. You must take it easy and remember that it will heal with time. Maybe things are different in Ireland, but abdominoplasty in America is usually an outpatient procedure (meaning you come in & go home the same day). I hope everything is ok! Also, get a pillow to hug when you have to cough or sneeze to brace your abdomen. I was told that after I had my c-section & it HELPS!!!
