Classy footballer gave his all for barca.
Under appreciated at Barcelona. Perfect fit for the club and replacement for Xavi. Constantly played out of position for club and country but never the less excelled. I don’t understand why they didn’t want him.
Yea Fabregas could have easily played as an 6 with his work rate and technical quality the funny thing is thy also sold Tiago 2 of the best ballers thy had since Xavi and Iniesta yet thy went and bought Rakaitic and Turan to fill the gap of Xavi and Iniesta but thy failed and Tiago and Fabregas had huge success with Bayern and Chelsea respectively.
@@MrCool-vu1nr well Thiago and Fabregas could be the next Iniesta and xavi combination but yeah barca fucked it up. They had the next generation coming along the way every single time and everybody would notice it but not barcelona idk why

Its true. Fabi expected to play center mid once he (Xavi) leaves but he stayed 2 seasons past his prime and Fabi had to play more advanced mid and sometimes even as false 9. A position where he isn't that proficient and Barca had better options. Naturally fans got tired of him putting below par performances and he too felt disconnected.
Not blaming Xavi because he is a legend in his own right but Fabi's barca career never took off due to him.
But it worked out well for Fabi and Chelsea in the end. They had a great couple of seasons after he left Barca and showed why he is still one of the best if motivated and played in position.. A real assist machine.

How exaclty he was just played out of position a lot which was a waste of his prime years at barca can't beleive his playing for as Monaco now I mean fabreags should be the greatest player of all time at Barcalona I know he did well at chelasea but his reseme should be better but that's how underrated his talents was at Barcalona I guess such a huge shame for Spanish football too
He was underrated but wasn't really meant to be appreciated as it was never work out for him at Barca

Fabregas being played as a false 9 killed Fabregas career although he did well in occasion but he always was a playmaker number 10 of u may like not a number 9 that was Sanchez if I remember well even so Barca never really need a player like cesc, Messi was already a great playmaker so in that sense it went wrong like that for Cesc but I still think Barca should have used him like in a box to box position ahead of xavi because he was 32 or something at that time his time clearly past,he could have been a could mentor for Fabreagas tho while Iniesta and busquets where getting better every game but it never happened and Chelsea cashed in he returned 20 assists for Chelsea in 2014-15 season clearly he had better stats then Rakatic his supposly successor lmao but in all seriousness he did ok too.

Where did it go wrong for cesc at barca I mean he had all the talent in the world maybe he did not work hard enough to fit in to the tiki taka system just saying cesc fabregas prime years where wasted on the bench and mostly he was played out of postion that's why I think cesc underachieved a lot without win in the ucl for barcalona at his time there which is a huge shame to be honest at arsenal he was a great leader but at barca he played second fiddle to messi which did not help him at all but ok atleast he won some league titles but I think could have done better!
Messi isn't the one that put him on the bench Iniesta and Xavi were there. Barcelona shouldn't have let him go and they should have played him more in his poistion.
The stats don't lie, he had more assists and goals than Xavi and Iniesta..But, Barca had their legends decided and Cesc didn't fit into the picture despite how flexible, good and talented he was..

Total money was wasted 420 mil imagine what thy could do with such cash today thy could easily go buy another 6 world class players but thy merely wasted it while thy had the best false9 in the world in Messi but I think selling Eto was the downfall for that so pound for pound whoever sold Eto wasted 420 mil of cash that day for Barca if only thy knew lol.
