      @Runaway You literally empathised with a hitman, dude! Nothing sad about Number's death, it's a part of their game, and a ruthless killer like Wrench wouldn't feel anything other than pure rage and urge for revenge. No soft emotions in that kind of job, and for that kind of people!

      @rudy2fat he got old and fat and his killer instincts dulled. It's pretty much the thing season 4 started off with where every time the new criminal empire led by the most ruthless and intelligent monster fresh off the boat deposes the old one it eventually gets complacent and overly comfortable, then in turn 'crumbles into the sea' when a younger and hungrier monster comes along to devour it. I'm not the hugest fan of the hanzee twist personally but pretty sure that's the basis for it, malvo would've had a fight on his hands with the man who wiped out the gerhardts.

    The man in the trench coat (identified as ‘The Book’ on IMDB) is God, and Hanzee is Satan. That’s why The Book knows Hanzee’s thoughts, reminds him of the fall of human empires, and provides Hanzee with the Phoenix-like resurrection. And Hanzee’s retort - maybe I’ll start my own empire - was Satan’s original pledge. Remember Episode 1, when the judge told Rye of the bet placed by God and the Devil. Hence episode 10’s title, Palindrome, implying the circular endlessness between good and evil, between purpose and senselessness. Best anthology season ever.

And other interactions with characters were like he was more interested in getting people to do the wrong thing. And his death, it was like he was bitter that his time on earth was coming to an end, not afraid or remorseful

    I love the show, however I did not really like, that they turned Hanzee into irrelevant, totally different character from Season 1 that died offscreen so easily (face transplant was also very lazy and cheezy) - I know that it's a part of Fargo's awesomeness in a way, but I believe he deserved better.

    • @Vexarax
      @Vexarax Před 3 lety +1

      I know this old but in case anyone reads it, yes Hanzee had surgery. He said he needs a faceman and the other guy says "I'm assuming you need more than a face peel, something structural" meaning changing the structure of his face. Like Michael Jackson completely changed his face shape and colour and everything.

    • @Vexarax
      @Vexarax Před 3 lety

      @rudy2fat Jackson changed his facial bone structure and skin colour completely to more closely resemble someone of completely different ethnic background, he even made an active effort to change his voice (making it very high and childlike) which is what they were going for in Fargo I believe based on the dialogue: a completely new person that could never be recognised as a Native American (going by what Hanzee requested). Season 1 takes place around 30 years after season 2 so it stands to reason someone who had a lot of surgery and gained a lot of weight would look very different :)
      (Edit though in my personal opinion I believe they should have used actors that more closely resembled each other at least in some ways)

    You can tell the producers never had season 2 in Thier minds as hamzee/Tripoli was shot and killed unceremoniously off camera. Not a death fitting a character you invested a while season watching. Fargo season 2 was good but many holes in that show.

      How does this make sense? Season 1 was a different story, and characters die in many ways. Him having an unceremonious death in a season that wasn't even about him says nothing about the writing or the so-called "plot-holes" you're pointing at.
