Excellent performance. The photographer is a phenomenon. Plays the camera as it would be also a musical instrument.

En mí niñez escuchaba música clásica en mí tocadiscos pegado a mí cama todas las noches. Eran indescriptibles sensaciones al escuchar éstos hermosos sonidos. Hoy en él ocaso dé mí vida los sigo escuchando qué para mí son mágicos sonidos medicinales pues padezco “Esclerosis Múltiple” hace más dé 20 años. Great editing as well.
I love this orchestra and the music, but I want to comment on the audio and video. Many television companies could well learn from the quality of this production, including the BBC. It is clean, crisp, the audio is full from the lowest to the highest notes, the camera work is some of the best I have ever seen. The whole audio and video teams seem to understand music!

I'm a 48 yr old woman from Canada, who grew up on it! My mother whose background is Russian, was an Opera singer, my uncle, her brother, was 1st chair, 2nd strings of the Toronto Symphony, my grandmother was a pianist and I played violin aswell. Yes, music is the universal equalizer!!

The kid with the glasses on violin in the front row is killing it!!! Like he’s so passionate into what he does I can tell. I was more focused on watching his act more than everyone else in the symphony. Some people are just more passionate into what they do more than others and he’s an example and the flute player is another great example. She was jamming too I saw her!

God did not inspire him, but some musicians from a Hungarian inn... out of the 21 "Hungarian Dances" only three are original compositions by Brahms (11, 14 and 16), the rest are adaptations of folk and popular music from Hungary (people don't really one thinks, why are they called "Hungarian Dances") Anyway, we thank Brahms for the musical arrangement and popularization en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hungarian_Dances_(Brahms)

Like Liszt, and later Bartók, Brahms felt very well the freedom and independency seeking "colective soul" of the hungarian folk, a folk, which is hard stigmatised and mocked by our enemies, especially since the evil Threaty of Trianon (its validity expires in 04.06.2020 - Justice for Trianon!) The spiritual level and the energie of the almost totally destroyed magyar folk-souls, the so called "hungarian spirit" manifests itself in more than 16.000 registered folk songs , a very good source of inspiracion for every artist and for every sensitive human being with empathy.
Oui, c'est une magnifique interprétation. En dehors de mes habitudes musicales, j'écoute aussi de la musique classique et en tant que français j’apprécie de plus en plus la culture hongroise au fur et à mesure que je la découvre, elle reste mal connue chez nous parce que les médias ne nous parlent jamais ou presque de votre pays.
Et pour cause: le maudit traité, voulu à l'époque par des politiciens revanchards de mon pays et leurs alliés, et dont le centenaire s'approche.
Ici en France très peu de gens ont entendu parler du traité de Trianon, l'ignorance à ce sujet est grande et j'ai du aller sur internet pour savoir les détails de cette affaire.
J'ai été attristé parce que j'ai lu, ces millions de gens qui se sont retrouvés étrangers sur leurs propres terres.... Rien ne pouvait justifier cela.
En tout cas je continu d'écouter vos belles musiques, elle parlent à mon cœur et à mon âme, c'est si apaisant, si beau.
My city Bytom can be very proud of it's heritage, great opera theater, music school, ballet school, Silesian museum, big library and this wonderful orchestra representing the music school. Bravo! I don't live there anymore but still remember all the time I sent at the opera theater there watching Opera, ballet, theater and listening t concerts.
