As a father I say this: It is never the child's fault. We knew what financial, mental and physical burdens it takes bringing a child into this world. It is our responsibility and our duty and take care of them and they should never feel bad. If we don't have the money it is our fault for not preparing, not your fault for existing. Any father that says it is your fault is not a father and is not worthy of the title if they spill out their frustration on you.

I almost never saw my Dad during the day, because he works 10+ hours as an independent mechanic. He's not poor by any means, but the amount of his life he's forced to pour into getting us by is a frustrating yet tearjerking effort.

It’s so scary how children are more aware of their surroundings. When I was babysitting a 4 years boy, he asked if I ha a good day and I actually had a mental breakdown but nobody realized it except that boy.
Edit: Thank you for the nice comments and concerns! I am feeling so much better now. I was not having a good time at my school or outside of school so I was in a bad mental health at that time. Now I graduated, everything I’ve experienced became part of who I am right now :)))

My father worked two jobs to feed 6 of his childrens. 9am-5pm and 7pm-3am everyday for years. I can't imagine how big that sacrifice and how tiring that was. He lived his young time for the family. Thank you dad, you are my hero.

This is one of those commercials that I actually find heartwarming. This man works himself to the bone to raise his daughter and he's always affectionate towards her. You know what I call that? Being an amazing parent! He's a better parent than the mother who emotionally neglected her son.

This clip never fails to leave me in tears coz it reminds me of my dad who always tells us 'everything is going to be fine' even though he's already too worried and stressed about where to find source of income to make ends meet. He stayed strong and cool to for us until his last breath. He passed away 4 years ago due to cardiac arrest. Hands down to all hardworking and responsible parents out there.

It makes me cry more to the fact that a girl so young, a daughter, can understand the hardships of a father like hers at such a young age. Not only does it show just how much she's grown, but how well her father must have taught her to be so understanding. Nowadays, kids older than teens find it difficult to understand the sheer hard work of a parent.
