My dad, oh my dad. I know only now, after my oun divorce and many separations after of different women I happened to meet and try to rebuild my life, what he suffered. His tears and his abandonment. I remember when my father died. I was in some kind of shock about an entire situation around his death.
I kept feeling episodes of huge stress, thinking about what I thought was terrible trauma, that I thought he had suffered while in hospital for several weeks.
I had a dream soon after.

I try to keep my parents alive by having celebrations with my children and by demonstrating the great values and integrity my parents had.
I have read and seen in many places that from death comes life. In lots of ways it is true.

I know none of this will help you, really, because these huge losses just have to be felt and it must run it's course while being shared with other caring people, until the pain subsiides, little by little.

I had a loving dad. Once in my early 20’s, the two of us went on vacation to Europe. After a long day of sight seeing, swimming, and eating good food, we went back to the station in Verona to catch the train for Rome. We were a bit late and the train was about to leave. As I hopped on the train, he hesitated and the doors closed. His last words were he loved me and was so proud of me. We never saw each other since. I received a letter from him about 10 years later, reading that he had always been aware of my whereabouts and life. He apologized for what happened in Verona and said that he is a secret agent and could not live with us for our own safety! That caught my mom and I by surprise since we always thought he was a college professor! At least I know he is alive somewhere ...

Trust me I don't regret the sore relationship what hurts me is the man I saw on the hospital bed was a lost man (hara hua) who chose his relatives against his family. That hurts coz I knew my father and he wasn't someone to give up easily but he was made to give up in the end.

I lost my dad when I was 29, and my mom now 3 years ago. Having no siblings, no brothers or sisters, you feel in a sudden that you are here and by your own. There is no one that will give you his or her unconditional love and support. Enjoy your parents and your siblings, and know, we are only visitors in this world. So make it good, give love and respect, and tell your parents how much you love them mine while they are on this side of the fence.

I'm not sure if you are religious, but I believe that there is someone who gives us this love: God. He loves us in a very special, unconditional way even if we made mistakes. So please try not to feel that unloved (if you do so). God is there and you can see your parents again in heaven.

And to come and pick me up with dad, bobbe and zeide, and my beautifull dog whom I had for 14 years. When I feel lost, I go visit my mom's grave and ask her to help me. I cry when I go there a lot. I cry for them, for me, for friends gone and relationships that went sower. Then I can come home cleaner and know that I am loved by them and by the Creator. Thanks for your kind words my dear.

I love my father..i miss him so much...he is my hero..he did everything for his parents..siblings..wife and children..even others..but he nvr did anything for him..😭😭😭...he gave everything for everyone..especially care and love.

I endorse your views. It is not a question of a country but gender. Males always want/try to have an upper hand on females irrespective of relation, caste, creed, religion, nation, etc. It is a global phenomenon or you can call it a male chauvinism down the ages. My dad is everything to me but unfortunately he can't walk anymore and he is paralyzed from the waist down, we have to take care of him and still remember how strong he was and always took care of us and even now he still worries about us and still ask us if we are okay, I now know how much you love your father and how much he has done for you... 😭😭😭Thanks to all who appreciate their father and the sacrifices he has made for you 😘
