- When I tried to build my first sound barrier breaking aircraft it was nothing like this DarkStar! This super sonic jet from Top Gun Maverick feels like it can really push the limits of speed in Trailmakers with no wonky flight patterns.

Just for the record… you said “like 3 times the speed of sound” but it actually went Mach 10 aka 10 times the speed of sound in the movie
a plane called blackbird has accualy flyd at mach 3

I’m pretty sure space engines actually have more thrust when you make them take up the same amount of space as dragon engines

amazing design, i found that space thrusters with the skinny connecting blocks gives better thrust than dragon thrusters

the SR 72 darkstar, is supposed to be 12 times the speed of sound, its just probably impossible on trailmakers

In 2008 I was smoking a cigarette outside with my girlfriend at the time and we were listening to the sound of the Crickets and the frogs and the Harmony of the night was beautiful. All of a sudden it sounded like an explosion in the sky and then we heard the sound of a jet of nowhere right above us. I absolutely believe the government has some kind of ridiculously fast crap.

you can fit more space jets than the dragon jets using the grind block wich is lighter than the normal block

2:08 what ur thinking about is the lockeed SR-71 which does pass mach 3 (which is three times the speed of sound). But yeah the DarkStar is not a real aircraft

2:04 The SR 71 did that back in the last century so...
In real life the dark star was a UAV and only lasted 3 years (199-1999) for not being aieral stable

How much is the trim on the thingys that press the back of the plane down? I wanna know cz the build looks crazy and I wanna build it to 😅😅
It’s on the lowest it can go so I think 5 and I think it’s pushing the back end up but test it out lol I forgot

Yeah! Try replacing the trusters that are in the intakes to all space thrusters you’ll probably have to put 2x1 in between each

when i join trail makers i already nbroke the sound barrier because i hit a gas can and it blew me over 800mph

I just replicated your DARKSTAR and unlike yours I couldn't solve the problem when the nose keeps aiming up
Maybe check the censer again or put the last two wings on a sharper angle oh or rotate the thrusters so that they aren’t upside down 🙃 hope helped
