A beautiful podcast with Bollywood's heartthrob John Abraham, it was the most heartfelt, brotherly conversation we've had on the show. He started his career with modeling and after many making his mark for many advertisements, he got the opportunity with his debut film "Jism". Soon he became the actor with the most aspiring body in Bollywood. For me personally, he was a huge inspiration during the time I was deep in my journey of bodybuilding.
In this episode, we went deep inside John Abraham's mind, the mistakes he has made in the past, the failures, his brand image & more. One thing I definitely witnessed the most about him was his humility for his work, art, and legacy that he has built over the years. There are many aspects of him that you'll witness during this conversation.
On being on the brink of a release, he breaks down how he disassociates his self-worth on the success or failure of a particular film. His new film will "Attack" will release on the 1st of April'22, where he brings back another release in the thriller genre.
Hope you enjoy this conversation, can't wait to have him back on the show again.

John has really been an inspiration for me and for us. I still remember the time when "Jism" was released back in 2003, there was so mush hush hush for the film. One day i got the chance to see the movie in TV. As a 12 year old kid back then, i found nothing wrong in that movie. Infact there were so many lessons to learn from it. I still admire johns work in jism, no smoking, water, paap. The songs in his movie is so good always and every time( Just as Imran Hashmi's.) I am glad to share my Birthday with John's.

This is incredible. Heard John in some interviews long ago and was fascinated by his thought process, his humility and sincerity. Then I guess I saw too many of his movies where he chose roles that were caricatures of this meathead or this over the top patriotic person( which is by the way the narrative which is winning the elections for a party). Today watching this interview made me realise not to separate the art from the artist. John is way too intelligent for the Bollywood movies- but a mans gotta earn. Totally respect this guy and if John happens to read this - you're an inspiration man- not just for the body but for your mind. Kudos

A podcast where you'll find more guys cheering than girls for a person adored by everybody ❤ Also it shows how the world today needs to address mental health of men more. A week of job and weekends to chill, this podcast gave me a great start to chill 👌. Thanks for the podcast 👍🏻 ❤

I was feeling exactly like what Ranveer showed at the end of the show. John has done so much for our generation and he really is too harsh on himself. I too was hurt that he feels like this about himself. I wish he'll be able to find the state of happiness more often. Also Ranveer really is very smart and intuitive although I think his content and choice of guests can be improved.

Well, tbh, this podcast was very emotional, I still remember watching John's every action film when I was a teen, fantasizing to have a physique like him, started lifting weights seeing him, there is a lot John has done to our minds! I feel like Ranveer asked what all I felt! Thanks Ranveer.

Such a beautiful candid conversation. John Abraham sounds so calm composed, sorted and clear. And yet he talks about himself facing issues and failures and being affected by them but still waking up and showing up. Hats off to John sir! Thank you so much Ranveer for making this podcast happen. :)

I dont know how to express how john's humility and honesty has moved me so much lately. Even though I am a woman I have always been inspired by john my whole life for his discipline and fitness. Thanks for bringing him on your podcast and asking him the things he really wanted to talk about . i can FEEL john also needed this podcast and a conversation with an evolved millennial like yourself ranveer. His advice at the end is very very wise and I can feel as if he was talking to all of us who are int he same age group like you. One of the best episodes of mine on TRS :-)

I met John in 2006 in Houston at the concert. I was pleasantly surprised. So humble and down to earth. I see him being the same even after so many years and he is just a good soul to sum
It up. Wish him the best. My take away from this interview, he needs to know that he has made it and he is not an underdog anymore. He should open up and do more work.

John really has been desirable & inspirational for tons of ppl across generation..!
Interesting part of the interview is that he agrees to have made lots of money, survived the industry for so many years and still agrees that money can bring you close to happiness but there is still something more...
Quest of spirit is a subject to be pondered..!
yoga and meditation is not just lifestyle statement but way of life and a daily need.

My first comment ever on any of your videos Ranveer. This was very good conversation specially because I feel John sir actually needed such a deep and honest conversation about himself as a person and NOT just about his films and work, and gave him this conversation instead of the usual film related interviews he has to complete because of his compulsions. I am too big fan of John Sir. I love and admire him a lot. He is my idol too. May he keep smiling and being strong always!

All teary eyed watching this podcast. I think in today's world it's important to "talk" about your mind, your intuitions and your deep secret internal nuisances that in some way or other eat your mental health. Seeing John Abraham this way was unexpected and i absolutely adore him for being so honest, polite and transparent about everything in this life. I agree when you said that John need not be harsh on him. I can totally feel what you were feeling at that moment. Maybe he's so driven in the hussle that he hasn't seen the love and appreciation people have for him. All love and power to you both! Thankyou so much Ranveer for making this happen and thankyou John Abraham for being a man who is not afraid to put it out that even he cries.
