Good show. You are not squeezed on vortex input capacity. The vortex can also receive shapes from the 2nd layer.

Also you can build your stations further away from your vortex and just space belt into
A cutter would solve an issue of the rotated cutted squares. It doubles the speed since it's only cutting, the 2nd half is not deleted. You didnt have enought of space for the miners and the cutters would solve it with flying colours
Episode 9 I believe I will unlock the cutter and start incorporating it to make builds a bit more efficient!

Hi you can space belt right into a train loader and unloader, you can also add another train to the same line for longer trips

the cutter upgrade I've seen used very effectivly it dosen't destroy the other half so kinda doubles cutting capacity.
Will start using it in episode 9 and onwards
You need to do more with your second level and eventually third level. It helps with cargo but also with dumping your shapez in the hole. :)
I agree! Stay tuned for episode 8 where I implement MKII versions of all my blueprints which utilise the second layer and double throughput!
Regarding the challenge 11.
You didn't have to go so far away from the base, you literally had it right by the base, and already coloured correctly, even has the blue square in the right place.
The challenge could've been done without any brainload
haha yes that will happen a lot, I'm so bad at finding good spots where it has all the shapes and colors I want!
You dont need to use both levels for the train, just build 2 loaders right next to each other and belt i to it, make sure your train has 2 wagons.
I eventually fix all these issues in future episodes when we properly utilise both levels
make 2 extractors then merge them together with a space belt in a platform ,that way u have 8 lanes ,waaay more efficient (one extractor have to be aiming up)

42:50 NO! BAD! NOT 2 up and 2 down. 4 down. 4 stacked on top of it. Each platform has 3 layers. Each layer is a complete floor. Space belts and trains have triple the capacity that you actually use because you don't use the second layer, nor have you bought the third.
Broken space belts dump shapes into the void. Conveyors built on level 2 still dump shapes into the vortex. You don't need to keep zig zagging up and down so much.
Patience my friend, I record a few episodes ahead (so this and next episode was recorded prior to me reading all these comments) trust me I've incorporated all your feedback and dedicate an entire platform to you for all your tips in episodes 8 and 9!
It pains me that you haven't unlocked the cutter or swapper as they can double or quadruple the outcome of a single belt.
