Thank you Robin for your music and longevity.
I think it's almost criminal Guthrie hasn't been asked to do more movie soundtracks. I suppose it's the industry's loss. His music, at least to my ears, is very cinematic.
Indeed ! It's very cinematic. Especially his latest releases.. I feel intuitively just now after reading your comment that he will be making more music for film. Thank you for watching
The Moon and the Melodies is my favorite of his. It was my introduction to Cocteau Twins music when I first heard it in 1989 and been a big fan since.
Yes, a beloved most cherished album ♥️
The architect. In many ways he wrote the blueprint so many are still borrowing from.
Cheers from Ukraine. LOve `em since 1992-1993 first i heard `em and that was unearthly feelings. And it was Treasure and HOLV....This Mortal Coilstill goosebumps from distant memories.
Yes I love them too and thank you for listening !

Robin describing people doing covers of Cocteau Twins as "brave" was perfect! A true legend!

Great interview! It felt like you are talking to a friend in your own living room 😊. My ex husband made a pedal for Robin's guitar (we are from Uruguay), and he said it was really nice talking to him. Thank you for posting this! 👍🎶

Great interview DJ Nocturna
Thank you for Listening !
I think of my life in two parts: before and after I discovered the Cocteau Twins.
I was 13 when I first heard them. I thank the universe for that
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Happy New Year and Happy Birthday to the legendary producer and founding member of the Cocteau Twins #RobinGuthrie. He just released his EP called Springtime. #HappyBirthdayRobinGuthrie #CocteauTwins ♥️🎆🎶
Besides the amazing & noisy Link Wray, the nerdy intellectuals, Bill Nelson, R. Fripp & A. Belew; Robin Guthrie is most deffinitely my favorite electric guitarist. Nobody has his vision with dark to dreamy modulation. ❤
Nice interview. I wished you would have asked if there is any chance of working with Elizabeth Fraser again. That would be a dream come true.
Thank you for listening.. Totally a dream come true.
Wow, old people can be COOL!!😊❤ Robin is just Amazing 🎸🎶👀🤘😎🤩

Thank you so much. I appreciate it very much 💕
!
It's like every song before Imperial is time locked and reworking or revisiting any of his songs from before then is pretty much impossible from this interview. As a fan it's a shame as it's all his body of work, even if the past isn't a nice place. I like all his stuff. There's nothing wrong with him performing Cocteau Twins or Robin Guthrie solo. It's all Robin regardless. Fans who go to see him like both. I hope Robin see's that from a fan's perspective.
He definitely was an influence and shaped our early musical memories and I'm so glad he continuing to make beautiful music like he did with the Cocteau Twins and all his productions.
Moon and melodies is out of this world. She will destroy You is best cocteau song
Yes mine too
