My wife unexpectedly passed away in May. This song has helped me to cope with the loss of not only my wife, but my soulmate and playmate. "Even when you're gone...I still spend every day with you".

Sorry for your loss Freddy. It's amazing how music feeds the soul. Even the tears that come from it oddly bring weight off your shoulders. I hope you are doing okay now and your wife is resting in peace and in a better place.

Love how your voices both blend and contrast. Adds depth and interest to the song.
Had to listen to it 3 times, once as a whole, once focusing on Jesse, and once focusing on you.
It's like you each are singing your own versions, together and simultaneously, with slight differences of emphasis and intonation. Often seen when trading verses on a song, but so rare (to me) when every word is sung together. Splendid.
It seems to be the normal case that the harmony is secondary to the melody. Not here. A meeting of equals sharing the notes.
Maybe most duets are like this. I don't know. But I sure noticed it here, and love it.
