Buzz humiliated him in front of everybody, he clearly wasn't sorry about, they were all shocked when Kevin called his uncle a cheapskate when he clearly is one, and even his mom berates him for what happened last year despite the fact that wasn't his fault either.
Yeah. Tbh if I was the mother, I’d give Buzz more of a hard time since he started the whole thing. He humiliated Kevin on stage which provoked him. Also to Kevin, I’d give him a subtle yet serious lecture on learning how to ignore people
You could tell Kevin matured after being forgotten and left alone to the point that the Fuller Punishment barely even bothered him. You could tell he was really building up that Uncle Frank Comeback, ha.
What would make the moment even funnier and more satisfying when Kevin calls Frank a cheapskate is if they showed Frank's wife trying to hide her laughter over Kevin's roast.
Hahahah yeah. Dunno why they were shocked. Maybe they were shocked because he did what they couldn't - tell the truth. Though they didn't show Frank's wife's reaction, she was probably thinking the same thing. Plus, unlike Frank, she was more kind to Kevin.
Yeah of course kevin needs a new family which is going to be ernie smuntz, and ingrid for his new parents, lars smuntz for his new uncle, hilde for his new aunt, Christy fimple as his new cousin, timmy fimple for his new cousin, Phil fimple for his new uncle, marion fimple for his new aunt, James Henry totter for his new brother, and penny brown for his new sister, and alan albernathy, and stuart albernathy, and irene albernathy for his friends.
Kevin is the only adult in his family as he can take care of himself and smarter to know he isn't at fault for the mishaps that fell upon him. The rest are mindless, passive and brainless children particularly Buzz and Mr Cheapskate (Uncle Frank).
Yeah I feel so bad for Kevin his family is horrible I kept picturing how if they did another Home Alone movie with Kevin all grown up he would be estranged from the family
Yeah it’s pretty damn sad that a 8 year old child can take care of himself better than most adults can. I’ve seen what happens when an adult lives alone, they end up miserable because they suck as looking after themselves
I never like Buzz because he’s so mean to Kevin without suffering any consequences of him bullying his little brother, being that Kevin still has the right to defend that I am totally on Kevin’s side. I like the part when Kevin roast his uncle by calling him a “cheap skate”. I just laugh at his line of his terrible uncle by walking out like a badass boss while his uncle and his whole family were shocked of him saying that. Buzz I didn’t feel sorry at all because his Apology is so terribly bad.
Good point. Maybe then the family would stop letting Buzz get away with everything and stop believing his lies and stop punishing Kevin the youngest for everything since Buzz is the oldest and should know better and set an example for his younger brother. Plus, then Kate would have then maybe had the decency to make Buzz actually apologise to Kevin like he meant it. The whole family are all awful to Kevin and nothing is ever done about it.
@@knowledgegathererdraftsave1979 I think Kate would have let Buzz get away with it and punished Kevin further, because that would have exposed her golden child as being truly awful and she wants to remain in denial about that. @@knowledgegathererdraftsave1979 well true but another point: Kevin did tell Kate he was called a trout sniffer but still Kate denied it and forced him to apologize to Buzz.
Maybe but they will still suck up to buzz the whole family is just being a jackass to Kevin plus it’s a blessing In Disguise that they left him again because both times he made adventures on his own and made unexpected friendships which helped him mature and thrived as a person
That would have been awesome. Then the whole family would have gasped. But if half of them laughed, that would have been the best. Especially if one of the snickers came from Frank's wife, Leslie.
Kevin is definitely not the same little kid he was in the first movie. He matured and is now standing on business with his family, for real. 0:42, the look that Kate is giving Peter is saying "he cooked your brother bad"
1:20 Typical, Buzz gets away with everything and only gets Kevin into more trouble than he deserves. Kevin said twice that Buzz was lying and didn’t mean what he said and that they were all so stupid to believe him and his mother still has the nerve to make him apologise to Buzz but not to make Buzz apologise to him like he actually means it?!
Not only Buzz but that shit stain Uncle Frank. He bullies Kevin but Kate and Peter deny he's misbehaving and treating Kevin badly, because he's a fellow adult and a family member.
But Buzz did (fake) apologize to him so the family definitely would have thought he was sorry. He whispered 'trout sniffer' so they didn't hear him say that
@@vedantsridhar8378 Yes, but Kevin told his mother Buzz called him a trout-sniffer and said twice that he lied and didn’t actually mean it when he fake apologised, at least Kevin told the truth and was right to not apologise, and she still had the nerve to tell him to apologise to Buzz when he wouldn’t apologise like he actually meant it.
You know, I have a theory that Mrs. McCallister is just Delia Deetz after she divorced Charles in Beetlejuice. Tells me I'm wrong, when the Home Alone opening music sounds eerily similar to 'This is Halloween' from *Nightmare Before Christmas.*
I feel like being the youngest and most mistreated in his family made Kevin the smartest. Through that experience Kevin learned to think and act for himself. That’s why despite being looked down upon, he didn’t apologize for shit and stood up for himself. Update: I love how after his experience in the first movie, Kevin is neither fazed by his familie’s bs and can call them out on it. Like Mr. Cheapskate. 😂

Never really paid attention as a kid to the family as much as I did all the traps Kevin set up. But wow what a bunch of narcissistic people Kevin has for family.
Uncle Frank is a gross leach and I'm glad Kevin had the balls to call him out. This scene infuriated me because Buzz was such a narcissistic asshole and OF COURSE the whole family puts blame on the real victim
I like the scene from home alone 2 when my brother and mother doesn't like us no more because they didn't listening to each other and last time we tried to take their Christmas shopping we had problem it started just like this. When I have my own money I'm going my own Christmas shopping alone and I had my worst fun in my whole life well I got my wish last year maybe I've get it again this year.
I’m gonna assume the mother got real careful every Christmas after this, afraid that he’d use his power to wish the rest of the family far away from him again
Let’s reiterate the whole situation. Buzz bullies Kevin, Kevin stood up for himself. Buzz literally humiliated him when Kevin tried to do his big moment and do a solo singing. And after buzz gave a half ass apology. He called Kevin a trout sniffer. Everybody hates Kevin and buzz is the golden child.
Buzz shouldn't have provoked Kevin, he should apologize and his parents should punish him for what he did. Buzz is older, he's supposed to know better. It's not Kevin's fault they overslept and almost missed their flight the previous year, the wind kicked up late at night and caused a power outage. If his parents sent him to the attic today, he'd be on the phone with DSS so fast. He was right , Frank is a cheapskate, if my uncle called me those names at 8, 9 or 10 years old, my mom would smack him and kick his balls.
@@podsmpsg1 what the hell does this have to do with democrats? i simply said if Kate or anybody kicked Frank in the balls, they might end up in jail for it. Well if I were Kevin, I would even then not have pushed him down, because then I wreck the whole show. At least when Buzz did that, the show still could have continued.

You know, I can relate to Kevin. Sure, he was out of line to push Buzz and insult his family, but that doesn't mean 0:50 and 1:03 is false. Especially the latter. When a person makes a mistake and does wrong, you don't have to respond with wrongness. I know from experience. To give a backstory I was taken to my supervisor's office with her and a high-ranking chef. The chef told me that I've been touching my coworkers too much. Not _THAT_ type of touch, of course not! Just *_casual_* ones, like on arms or shoulders. I was always very outgoing at work. When I asked her if anyone reported a complaint, she said it didn't matter (so I assume yes). She told me that we need the workers to be comfortable in a good work environment, and that I pretty much shouldn't talk about anything other than work and school (I work at a university's catering service). She told me I shouldn't tell my stories because they may be inappropriate to my coworkers. Now yeah, I guess I do occasionally say ✌"inappropriate"✌ stuff at work, but not *_horribly or intentionally._* I just like to joke around and have fun with my coworkers, but maybe it isn't like that for all of them? I really didn't get specific information from the chef about what and whom. She understands/likes that I'm outgoing, but she made it sound risky and in need of limits, for good behavior and my coworkers' sake. And again, that I shouldn't touch anyone (shoulders or arms) without consent. But seriously, I'm not a creep. I didn't mean to be so "handsy" (I say loosely). While I own my mistake, I feel the chef may have gone a little too far too. Maybe she lectured me a little too much? Maybe it wasn't fair I was taken to my supervisor's office? Maybe it was condescending for her to say to my boss, "Is there anything you want to add?" while I was IN the room? I'm not denying my mistakes, but at the same time, it feels like she and my boss might have misjudged me. And it doesn't help how the chef actually said, "How was your weekend?" before we entered the office. And the next day, she actually says, "How are you?" What did she think I would say? "I'm great, thank you!" I should've given her a weird look and said, "uh...what?" She needs to understand that it's rude to ask a polite question the day _after_ a lecture. Fake kindness and patronization are just wrong. I wouldn't have displayed either if in her position. So yeah, two wrongs don't make a right. Kevin was wrong, I was wrong, but so were the other McCallisters and the chef, as far as I'm concerned.
This part always aggravates me. Kevin didn’t do anything wrong except retaliate against Buzz and he gets in trouble for it. Kate is a horrible mother, Peter is no better, Buzz is a manipulative bully, the siblings cousins and Aunt all suck and Frank… is a horrible selfish excuse of a human being.
Kevin is a very smart boy, since the first movie. He talks back, very smartly (say goodnight Kevin). As we may heard it too he’s mama’s fav as she does everything for him. He didn’t even knew how to make his lacets in the first movie. I’m not talking about the rest of the family but about his mom, they seem pretty close. She came to see him, and he talked back again but you can see all the love in her eyes. Just like in the first movie, she let go a lot because ig my kid even dared to call me dummy… Kevin was a spoiled kid. Buzz is on the contrary pretty stupid and they let him go with whatever, it’s not that they hate Kevin in my opinion but more like Buzz acts as if he was stupid and smart enough to apologise. He’s being mean in the back of his mom, not in front of her.
Yeah buzz mccallister I had it with you and your emotional constipation, and ernie smuntz keeps kevin as a new father, and ingrid keeps kevin as a new mother, and lars smuntz keeps kevin as a new uncle, and hilde keeps kevin as a new aunt, and phil fimple keeps kevin as a new uncle, and marion fimple keeps kevin as a new aunt, and christy fimple, and timmy fimple keep kevin as a new cousins, and stuart albernathy keeps kevin as a friend, and irene albernathy keeps kevin as a friend, and alan albernathy keeps kevin as a friend, and peter pan keeps kevin as a new brother, now you keep your mouth shut you got that now pipe down, and go to your room, I'm the boss on here on you.

1:25 Yep, this is definitely a PG movie. Can you imagine other variations of that line if this movie had a higher rating? PG: "I'm not apologizing to Buzz! I'd rather kiss a toilet seat!" PG-13: "I'm not apologizing to Buzz! I'd rather be kicked in the balls by a marine!" R: "I'm not apologizing to Buzz! I'd rather be molested by Uncle Frank!" NC-17: "I'm not apologizing to Buzz! I'd rather french kiss dad's ass hole!"
As someone who is the oldest if I pull what Buzz did in both 1 and 2 movie to my lil sis. I would have gotten in so much trouble. As the oldest my mom would expect me to set good example and act my age esp if we had the same age gap as Kevin and Buzz. Like Buzz is like teenage while Kevin is probably barely double digits. His mom didnt even care if Buzz fake apologized. I can see why Kevin has to apologize to his cousins since him pushing Buzz cause domino affect but why to Buzz? Kevin was the victim not Buzz. Plus him getting left behind wasnt Kevin's fault. His parents literally forgot about him.
Kevin had absolutely every right to retaliate against Buzz, he 100% deserved that after humiliating him like that, Peter and Kate clearly saw Buzz doing it and the fact he didn't even get in the slightest bit of trouble is completely beyond me. The only one who gets the blame is Kevin, even though Buzz started it all. Buzz is the real bad guy, Kevin was just standing his ground. Even after Buzz's so called apology, he still never gets in trouble for anything he does.
you think after what happen last time Kate would be like you know Kevin your right but please say sorry i dont want you to fight with your brother all the time if she said something like that Kevin likely would say sorry but no she acts like a jerk

Unpopular opinion: The Mcallister family pissed me off more than the Wet/Sticky Bandits. I hate them.

@danielle1216 But in the show "Allegra's window" there is a healthy atmosphere. 3-year-old Allegra also knows what it's like to have an older brother. But she was luckier with him than anyone else. At the age of 6, Rondo already pretends to be cool, prefers games for big boys, makes barbs at her, but not to annoy her, but in a kind way. But that doesn't mean he's always like this. This is just a mask with the help of which he learns not to show his weakness, so as not to give others a reason to mock him in the future, and I like it. In fact, Rondo is a very affectionate and kind boy who hides his tenderness behind this mask and he loves his sister very much
Kiss a toilet seat? now that’s my kind of hobby
Buzz's FAKE appology reminds me of a couple fake appologies I recieved and I didn't accept them because I knew they were fake.
Is it me, or is the family better off without uncle Frank and Buzz? I think Kevin should have roasted uncle Frank even more.

Buzz is on the contrary pretty stupid and they let him go with whatever, it’s not that they hate Kevin in my opinion but more like Buzz acts as if he was stupid and smart enough to apologise.
