Victory motorcycles should have never been canceled. The engine and its ease of oil changes and clutch patch were revolutionary, the air oil cooling was super. The gear primary and chain in lieu of push rods made sense. I am sure Polaris will keep the Victory motor patent.
Yes we did not incorporate some requirements for the civilian use and we had to focus on funtion as well and not limit lean angle as the Officers really like to lean tese Victory's
i wish all motorcycle manufactures notice such as front light on front bumper light are important for every motorcyle and the rear lamps too... until now i don't see they provided them too that's too bad. fact is superbike less safety lights features
I can't believe Victory was shut down in 2017, that motor and engine design could and should be in the Indian, as we know Polaris owns both companies and the thunder stroke 111 is simular to the victory engine but the 111 uses push rods instead of a chain. But their gear drive primary is the standard which is maintenance free and takes care of itself with the 1 hole one plug oil changes.
Is there some technical reason for that? If not a technical issue, why? There are a lot speed bumps, potholes, and other obstacles that would make a skid plate worth having. I'm not worried about small arms fire from that direction, but the ground can smack you when you don't expect it.
Does that means harley Davidson is out & victory is in for the NYPD. I would wish victory would be the new NYPD Motorcycle. Harley bavidson must be scared like crazy just seeing this sales man in action . Did you hear what he said about decorations he's talking about harley ha ha ha .

the degree of engineering that goes in to victory motorcycles is incredible; they definitely did their homework.
My neighbor across the street is a motor officer and rides a Victory Police Cross Country.. really sweet bike.

I cannot tell from the angle, but does one have to remove the skid plate in order to access the oil drain bolt?
Do the police cycles use the same camshaft set up as the normal bike?

Please note: the skid plate option is ONLY for and on the police bikes and will not work on a Civilian bike.
They run the same chassis, motor and all except it has a Fairing

Yes you can program them to the desired function
Are the lights able to be configure to CA steady burn?
Yes the Police Motorcycles are configured differently than the Civilian Models and the skid plates are not designed to fit the Civilian Model.
polaris did a great job tricking the police into believing they would be around to be there for the long haul

No you do not, the skid plate does not interfere with any services of the Motorcycle.
If you all would round out some of the sharp points in your design it would be a nice bike. Just too pointy...
