- A closeup look at BlueRail Trains bluetooth low-energy plug-in board which works well with track power or battery power. The Dead Rail plug-and-play is easily installed in a loco for battery power operation or battery assist (on dirty track). Kit includes bluetooth board, protected lithium battery, magnetic reed switch and 9/8 pin harness, ready to plug into any DCC-Ready train.

Why very interesting, learnt alot about battery operated. Thanks
you know I've been running battery trains for as long as I can remember. and this would be perfect for vintage/modern G scale trains like New Bright, Echo, EzTec/ Scientific toys and Bachmann. as this would a great way to move from those 6 or 4 C cell batteries.
Hi, have you any news when this fantastic system could be released for N scale ?.
I can´t wait to see my N scale trains running on this system !.
Cheers, John from Chile.
this looks really great but I want to see you put all that stuff into the tender and have it work right. I see the tender you are demonstrating with, the black one, is twice the size and would fit everything no problem. I want details on fitting this into an average size tender.
one question? are you guys planning to do this same broad for n scales?
How much are these beauties selling for in HO? Thanks. MOST informative. The wave of the future. IT'S ABOUT TIME TO SIMPLIFY MODEL TRAINS.
How long does one charge last? How long does the battery last?
If the reed switch LED was the right color and on a wire, it would be great for placing in the firebox as a power indicator.
Was thinking if it was white it could be a cab light when I saw it. I like the idea of the red in the boiler.
BlueRail Trains....where can i get something like this for my DC steamer 2-8-4.?? And how much is it?? $$$$....and is it easy to install??
Do you have this for g scale?
I am about to build my on little railway I'll have to get me dead rail pack.....(definitely not because it looks the simplest..) lol
Is a sound board in the near future
Yes. bluerailtrains.com/latest-news/
I might have missed this but how do I install it into a dcc ready steam engine
The harness with the 9 colored wires has an 8-pin plug on the end. You plug that into the 8-pin DCC socket on your DCC-Ready steam loco. The socket is generally in the tender.
+BlueRailTrains ok thanks!
How do I hook this up to a old DC engine with no DCC board
Is it a Mantua/Tyco?
BoCoProductions ......yes im curious as well.
hi, will the app blue rail dcc be available for android too? or just i phone ( dont like iphones...)
The Android version of the BlueRail app will be updated to support the new boards later this year
@@BlueRailTrains So I have the BlueRail app for android, is there a tentative date for the Android version for Blunami, seeing how you guys partnered with Soundtraxx? It appears to be the exact same app...
@@JacksonSubNScaleModelRailroad the new Blunami Android app is functioning and in testing right now. There is no official release date, but internally it’s within a few weeks of being public ready.
will this work with g scale locos
Many people use this board with G locos. Here is an article on the topic: bluerailtrains.com/2016/07/15/considerations-for-using-bluerail-boards-in-larger-gauges/
