Amazing, wonderful, marvelous, these words are too small to praise this performance of Naadayogi Shri.Maudurai Mani Iyer, especially Sukhi evaro, I felt the swaras are became upsara narthakis dancing along with the music. The bhakti rasa of the music really touching my soul. I am lucky that I could see his concert at Thinunakkara Shiva temple in 1964 when I was 6 years old, the entire area was fully crowded and I was sitting in my my grandmother's lap, which I can't forget. Many many thanks to the uploader of this concert.

Kanada swarams superosuper. His special ity. It is a long time since I had heard this. Sometime in ,1950s I heard this. Always blissful to hear his concert. Tks Mr Raju Asokan for upholding the concert.

Simply exhilarating and pulsating kaanada. The spontaneity of swara exchange, the mutual admiration of the vidwans and sheer beauty of it all...oh difficult to describe in word. I was just swaying to it all through in absolute joy...thanks for this upload..

MMI is such a down to earth person that he acknowledges violinist spontaneously and rajamanickam pillai is as great and gracious as ever.
Well said. Not only is Sri. Mani Iyer the principal performer, but also the first fan in the concert arena to appreciate. Seems that the human ego rarely bothered him. Such a great man.
The rasika who listens this mellifluos concert is really " sukhi".

Thanks for sharing this excellent concert. How the rasikas are swayed by the torrent of swaras can be gauaged by their spontaneous reaction. Rajamanickam pillai is a perfect accompanist. Murugaboopathy's mridangam is pleasing as ever.
That's why MMI told in between " சுரு சுருன்னு வரார்"

Who was the best violinist to accompany Madurai Mani Iyer.I have not seen Rajamanikjkkam Pillai and Papa Venktramaiah.I have seen Chowdiah,Lalgudi ,TNKrishnan and MSG
