    Do you have an inline fuel filter? All my Suburbans have them now. Too easy to get contamination in the fuel and a $4 filter from napa will save a lot of headaches. I use the clear ones because I find it interesting how much they actually catch!

    I know what you mean I live down in lower Michigan and bought myself a 1976 Sears ss18 with some attachments and about a month after getting it running had to pull the carb off and rebuilt it.

    Possibly the fuel pump is bad starving for fuel.

    If it came on all the sudden boss, in kinda curious to see if there's anything in the bowl(dirt or moisture)

      Yes, came on while plowing PA earth. The tuffist ground on the planet lol

    Had the same problem with my Bolens 1556 ended up being a fuel pump

    The older they get the more susceptible they are to sickness? Or something like that, I'm sure a carb cleaning will do the trick!

      Yeah. Going to start with straight gas to carb by pass the fuel pump. Go from there
