In today's chaotic garage video, DakotaStone, AkaGels, and myself jump into building this Nissan Z in 48 hours before it heads off to Slammedenuff Gatlinburg. We opted to go with Work ZR10 staggered wheels, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, BC Racing BR Series Coilovers, EBC Rotors and RP-X Brake Pads. The mods were HUGE to this car which means our next steps are to finish up with a Fi Exhaust AND benchmark how it does on the track!

Glad to see you replace the pads rotor and fluids rather than the calipers, too many people think bigger brakes stop you faster. Nice to see people doing sensible modifications rather than doing a whole bbk to stop in the same distance
agreed Kevin, most cars are fine with just some good street perf. pads at first. When you have to replace the rotors, upgrade to some Stoptechs etc. Big calipers look great but functionally are you really able/willing to use them, IE are you brave enough to brake later in the corners?

@@AlexMartini. the fact that your hype over BC coils makes me question your authenticity , anyone that knows about suspension knows BCs are rebranded trash . literally charging 1200 bucks for 700 dollar coil over makes zero sense to me .

Love seeing you guys 'work' together. Agreed on the slotted vs. drilled rotors, been running StopTech slotted rotors on my street/track cars for years and no issues. Drilled rotors are prone to cracking and I just dont want to worry about that at 120mph on a track. Will say drilled and slotted rotors look better but I place function over form when it comes to braking. Alex, how many kitties you got now? I saw Pop Tart and then I saw a black and white one in the rear of the shot.

I've said this everywhere i can; the 9/10 spoke rims are the meta for this car. I've got a Serian Blue with 19x9.5+23 front and 19x10.5+15 ZR10's (blue center caps, blue valves and blue lugs) and the lowered 10 spoke look just brings out so much more of the 240 and gives it so much more of a sports car look than the 5's, 6's and 7's do. I don't think i've seen any 8's.
I trust these guys to build any car ever.

Car looks great! I love the graphite multi-spoke with yellow look. Only thing is I'd have gone for bigger profile tires to fill out the arches more

Which model of BC's are those? I'm still on stock suspension on my 2014... Also: Would you also consider a hotchkis front swaybar? It will do tons for off center turn in/steering feel... If you destroy those EBC's - the Z1 2-piece are blingin and save roughly 20lbs of reciprocating mass - I have those on mine with the redstuff for street use..they've been great 6+ years so far...
