  • (3 Apr 1994) South Africa's top three leaders went down on their knees together
    on Easter Sunday (3/4) to pray for peace amid fresh bloodshed that
    claimed 19 lives in Natal. President F.W. de Klerk, African
    National Congress leader Nelson Mandela and Inkatha Freedom Party
    head Mangosuthu Buthelezi joined in prayer with other political
    leaders at a service for one million adherents of the Zion
    Christian Church.
